For a long time I was predicting war or democide in 2025, but then fourteen years ago, in 2012, I backed off a bit from that prediction to instead predict war, collapse, democide, or whatever, in 2026.
Well, 2026 is nearly over, and it is not war or democide yet.
But there was an interesting post on X.
If the Democrats win, they are going after the entire facefag right.
So if they win in 2026, this is the last election.
It is win or die. The Republic has been over for some time. You just have to get on with killing your political opponents, or they are going to kill you. Those slow to figure this out, will die.
Elections require a willingness to live with your political opponents. Politics has become existential. The left is no longer willing to accept the continued existence of the right.
If I am wrong, not wrong by much, for the conditions that make the pretense of democracy possible have collapsed, and political questions must now be resolved by violence. The only question is which side’s violence will have the apparatus of state power?
You cannot hold an election when the one side proposes to criminalize the other side’s political orientation if they win. If the left win the election, the side about to be criminalized is just not going to hand over power.
We just have to drag out every judge and bureaucrat involved in weaponizing justice and just kill them, then just kill anyone who attempts to conducts elections in ways that enable fraud. We probably will not do what we have to do, at least not in 2026, but that is just going to increase the butcher’s bill when it finally comes due.
If we just kill them, history suggests that the Republic would survive such drastic surgery. But we are unlikely to do the necessary surgery in time, so the Republic is unlikely to survive, though the pretense that it survives will probably continue for a long time.
Regardless of how people vote, the outcome is likely to be that both sides declare victory. “Oh no”, the Dems will cry, “Thugs from ICE are suppressing the votes we found under the couch cushions two months after election day.” Normally Republicans respond to this by genteely pretending to believe, lest democratic legitimacy be doubted, but since they are likely to go to jail if the Democrats win, they are likely to be less credulous than usual.
The killing will not necessarily start before the election, nor immediately after, but if both sides fail to agree on the outcome of an election, what is there but force?
Suppose the Republicans do accept that the Democrats won, thanks to high turnout on postal votes and voting machines. Well, as the purge gets under way, there will nonetheless be trouble, though the trouble may well manifest more as one sided democide of white males than as civil war.
After 2020 I predicted a purge like that promised by Elissa Slotkin for 2026. It did not happen. The gerontocrats in charge of the Democrats backed away from the precipice. Those people are no longer holding the leash.
What has changed, what has been changing all my life but is now reaching critical levels, is that the left is no longer willing to exist in the same universe as the right, the brown left no longer willing to exist in the same universe as straight white males, and white liberal women are no longer willing to exist.
You can tell how true this is by the continued denial of the blatant electoral fraud that took place in 2020. If there can be no conversation on the failings of American democracy, then no solution can be agreed upon and it will come down to violence.
On which, per usual, both sides are in denial. This lady who is threatening Trump loyalists as much as Trump himself, because while we hear her say ‘you and your family will be killed’ she hears herself say ‘just some old fashioned justice, nothing too radical.’
How does democrats winning the lections in 2026 enable them to go after the facefag right?
Senate and congress are legislative. Granted, they may pass laws that being a facefag right is a crime that carries the death penalty, but they still lack executive to power to enforce that law and kill every facefag right and anyone they suspect of being a facefag right.
Governors have executive power. Some governors may enforce such laws, but if they want to do that what is keeping them from doing it now? What would change for these governors by election results for senate and congress?
I do expect war and democide, but I don’t see how the November elections could trigger it.
Say there will be massive fraud. The dems claim they won everything by a wide margin. Maybe the government will then call it fraud, tries to punish everybody involved and things quickly escalate to civil war.
The other possibility is another TACO and the governments concedes the election. Then no war and no democide for another 2 years as the government ignores or applies new law only in a small extent. Then war and democide happen only 2029 when a dem president takes power- which will happen as fraud has by then been effectively legalized by the government’s inaction after the fraud of 2026.
