The Green New Scam

Europe is collapsing.  This is partly because of taxes and regulation far beyond the Laffer limit (the entrepreneurial elite is fleeing Britain en-masse) and partly because energy is expensive.  Your standard of living is, to a good approximation, the amount of energy put to good use for each person. When you see standard of living statistics that differ significantly from this ranking, they are usually obviously fraudulent, though climate extremes require more energy usage for a given standard of living (Qatar), and some industries, in particular data centers and aluminium refining, just inherently consume a lot of energy without that necessarily resulting in a higher standard of living. But if you correct for these uses of energy, a good measure, and one far less easily gamed than GDP.

A few years ago, green energy was useless scam.  You need energy when you want it, not when the sun shines and the wind blows.  However, China, for urgent national security reasons, has been advancing the technology of green energy — windmills, batteries, and solar panels, and has now advanced it to the point where solar power is actually useful for some countries.  Wind power is useful in a few special locations where the wind blows steadily, but just about everywhere else, it remains a scam.

China is dependent on foreign oil, and very much does not want to be dependent on foreign oil, because foreigners might turn China off.

And yet, in Europe and much of America, still useless, in Europe because of lack of state capacity — because Green energy in Europe is entirely organised and built by green scammers, crooks, and frauds, and because in America Trump is reluctant to be dependent on Chinese technology for reasons of national security similar to the reasons of national security that China does not want to be dependent on imported coal and oil.

Near the North Sea, there are powerful winds that blow steadily, so this should be one of the special locations where wind power makes a lot of sense. But by and large, people do not actually want to live where strong winds blow steadily, so you need to transport the power a long way, using high voltage direct current lines. And Europe lacks the state capacity to distribute the power that it is currently generating near the North Sea, so most of these expensive windmills are turned off most of the time.

If the sun shines on suburbia year round, and you have a whole lot of people living in single story housing (Australia) then you can avoid grid costs using distributed solar panels, and distributed energy storage. Which is a very libertarian solution: local power, local power storage. Grid costs tend to dominate energy costs, because the grid is doing the heavy lifting of ensuring that power is available where you want it, when you want it. If you can generate and store power where you want, saves a lot of money and administrative costs.

Because Chinese tend to live in big multi story blocks, it makes sense for the Chinese to produce solar power in big centralized solar farms in the desert, and store much of it in giant batteries in the desert, distribute it from the desert to the city substations in high voltage direct current power lines, and also store some in giant batteries in the city substations.

For Europe, however, it makes no sense at all, because their summers are dim and dark, and most of their energy consumption happens during their long winters, which are dimmer and darker. North sea wind would make sense, if they had the state capacity to build some good high voltage direct current power lines, but they don’t.

For Europe what makes sense is North Sea wind power, nuclear power and Russian gas. With battery costs continuing to fall, what will make sense in the near future is nuclear with batteries handling power consumption peaks. But even if they had the will to implement a sensible and practical solution, they lack the state capacity, as demonstrated by the North Sea wind debacle. North Sea wind energy would make sense, if they had the state capability to build a grid capable of moving the power from the shores of the North Sea to where it is needed, but their grid is a legacy from their ancestors, it is falling apart, and as the last of the boomers retire, they are losing the capability to maintain it. Similarly, France and Britain are losing their capability to build, maintain, and operate nuclear reactors.

Jimmy says:

Direct current lines never, ever makes sense from an engineering standpoint, but converting to much lower loss high voltage AC (the prophet Tesla showed us the way) at the point of generation or storage is almost trivial. You are right about the situation otherwise though. Engineers have known the climate agenda was a scam the whole time, precisely for the reasons you give: the proposed solutions exacerbate the problem, even while real solutions are at hand. The world would be a better place if engineers didn’t keep their heads down and mouths shut so much. But regular guys are just regular guys.

Also the data analysis underpinning the whole thing is just garbage.

Tejano Bob says:

lower loss, wut?

AC dominates not because of loss, but because of transformers (and secondarily corrosion). DC has lower transmission loss,.at the same voltage as AC because it has a longer wave length.

If you are going from DC solar panels to DC batteries; then it makes perfect sense to use DC transmission for the long haul part. Afterwards, switch to AC for distribution.

Daddy Scarebucks says:

You’re kind of both right. AC is more cost-efficient over short distances, DC is more efficient over very long distances. I remember reading the break-even point being about 350 miles, but that figure is probably changing every year as more DC infrastructure gets deployed and the cost of converters goes down.

If the Chinese transmission is over 3000 km, as Jim says, then that is far beyond the break-even point. You pretty much have to use DC at that distance to avoid reactive losses in the hundreds of megawatts.

Jim says:

China’s solar farms in the Gobi desert and wind farms on the Tibetan plateau are connected to the cities by million volt three thousand kilometer direct current lines, this being the cheapest and most efficient way to transmit very large amounts of power very long distances.

AC suffers substantial radiative loss when the distance becomes comparable to a quarter wavelength, and synchronization is a pain that is apt to horribly wrong when power demands suddenly change.

You need all your AC sources and sinks to be perfectly synchronized, and if they are not, your substation explodes. This synchronization becomes a problem over long distances due to speed of light delays.

If you are trying to use renewable energy, you are unlikely to be blessed like Australia with renewables at the same locations as you are using energy, so you are likely, like China, to need to transmit very large amounts of energy very long distances. In which case high voltage direct current is really your only viable option, and if you are not using it, it is because you lack the state capacity and technological capability. In the case of China, their best source of renewable energy is the Gobi desert, and in the case of Europe, the winds of the North.

Jimmy says:

I’m learning something today. Obviously I don’t know much about the grid. I didn’t even know high voltage DC transmission existed.

While there is big DEI/AA for them they still mostly leave engineering. A bunch of engineerettes with no male engineers solely doing a nuke plant from the ground up so it can meltdown, it could happen but only if some leftist government project tries to artifically create an all female engineering team. Some engineerettes at least if they aren’t put with other women also aren’t THAT bad on their own. Like the girl I’ve referred to in the past I knew as “the engineerette” her facebook bio still says she does aircraft engine work (but she may have not updated it). Unlike Boeing I’m not aware of anything thats failed from the company she works for. She was probably the most NAWALT unicorn of a chick I’ve ever met in my life though so…

A bunch of Indians inventing a fraud pipeline of we are nuclear engineers saar and only hiring each other and only certifying each other… much more plausible scenario. Women just don’t cooperate that well to bypass every safeguard…

Fidelis says:

We’ve used up the majority of easily-used coal deposits. Leave some energy in the ground in case of a dark age. We should use solar and batteries instead, as its more amenable to the average US normie trying to live “off grid”. No one is getting one of those SMRs the size of a shipping container for their “homestead”, they totally will get solar panels and batteries though. NA in most places is sunny.

Daddy Scarebucks says:

I don’t really believe we’re running out of coal, but even if we are, there’s a simple solution, which is to reactivate the spent coal. We’ve had the technology to do this for a while now, couple of decades I think, and obviously cannot be done infinitely or with zero energy, but can be done many many times on the same coal, requiring no virgin coal.

Of course, energy diversity is still a good thing and I’m all for local and hyper-local solar grids as well, but it has to be done right. All the green-blob solar “programs” and “incentives” in the U.S. revolve around dumping every residential solar panel onto the same shared grid, which is probably the least-efficient way possible to make use of it.

Batteries still have to become a lot more compact and more affordable for most homeowners to bother with them. I looked into them for myself last year, just to have as a backup, and came to the conclusion of “no way”. Too difficult, too expensive, too much maintenance. Maybe someday, but we aren’t there yet. Of course if you just want to run some emergency lighting, or a tool shed or something, they’re fine; but for a whole house, nope.

Jim says:

> Batteries still have to become a lot more compact and more affordable for most homeowners to bother with them.

We are getting there. Or rather the Chinese are getting there. I just got an affordable quote for a home battery system. Trouble was, ten year battery lifetime. Which makes it rather marginal. But with promised price reductions and very long life batteries, will no longer be marginal, but economically sound. The long life batteries are being manufactured right now, and are being installed right now, but the prices are still to high, not yet economic for ordinary use cases. But are expected to be economic in 2027, 2028. Of course it may not be wise to purchase an allegedly long life battery whose technology has only been in use for a very short time. You don’t know if it is actually long life. The battery chemistry is long life, but the casing is going to rust, etcetera.

Jim says:

> there’s a simple solution, which is to reactivate the spent coal.

What? Huh?

I think the future will be something like the technologies we are using to extract valuable materials such as uranium from absurdly low grade ore. We will frac deep coal beds, and pump in liquid oxygen and water in at one end, and get syngas out the other end, then burn the syngas for power, or use it to reduce iron ore to iron, or convert it into liquid fuels.

Current leading edge technology for extracting resources from extremely low grade ores is to frac them in situ, then pump in water at the correct PH and redox level to render the element you are interested in soluble, then pump out the solution, and electrochemically remove the element you care about from the solution through membranes that have selective ion permeability, regenerating the solvent. Kind of like what plant roots do.

Daddy Scarebucks says:

Sorry, that seems to have been in error. I mistook the reactivation of coal-derived activated carbon for the reactivation of the coal itself, since a few companies seem to use the terms interchangeably. It’s still used in industrial quantities and the reactivation does save a lot of coal mining but it’s not used in power generation, only purification and some other industrial apps.

The Cominator says:

Use breeder reactors. We should have been doing this since the late 1960s honestly and if not for the left we would have been…

Leftist keep us from having nice things…

Jim says:

All resources capable of being extracted with early nineteenth century technology have been extracted. Dark age technology is going to rely on scavenging from garbage dumps.

We are now moving towards in situ solvent extraction, which is capable of mining “ore” that increasingly resembles ordinary rock. The major energy sources during dark age recovery is going to be windmills, water mills, and charcoal.

Reinforced concrete crumbles after fifty years or so. I envisage dark age peasants fossicking through the broken lumps for nuggets of high purity rust.

There are still some people who make iron the old fashioned way, for religious and recreational reasons. It is cool to have a sword that was made by ancient means from beginning to end. They gather high quality iron ore that formed over the last few decades in stream beds, because all high quality iron ore bodies that formed over the last few hundred million years have been mined.

We will not go all the way back to the early iron age. In the worst case a nineteenth century workshop has the tools to build another nineteenth century workshop.

Fidelis says:

I’m assuming it will be like a mix of Bronze Age and post-Roman dark ages, not like whatever hit the former civilizations of the Amazon and the Mississippi.

So, total supply chain collapse, loss of mass production, and loss of ~98% of mass knowledge. That leaves enough behind we can figure out a way to get more energy from uranium ore than we spend processing it. Not sure the same applies to coal, oil, gas, iron, nickel, lead, etc. Metals will have to be scavenged, but the big problem to solve to reignite mass production is mass energy. There’s loads of uranium ore around, because we never earnestly scaled its usage like we did other energy sources.

So I say don’t worry about the anti-nuclear people, SMRs are cool but will not be useful to you in this lifetime, and instead focus on solar panel buildout. Solar is amazing stuff, especially if the Chinese keep making it cheaper and exporting it everywhere.

Pseudo-Chrysostom says:

Our Friend, The Atom, is partner and confidant to Civilization; the path and the gate and the key to such higher forms of existence that could scarcely be dreamed of in today’s terms, such as the industrialization of hydrocarbons transformed the world as we know it to day.

Absolutely worry about ‘anti-nuclear people’. Particularly, worry about how most effectively to bring about the physical liquidation of such daemon-haunted kinds into reality.

Fidelis says:

The dark age if it comes will still use radio equipment and computers for a long time. Silicon is resilient. Not infinitely so, but can be scavenged and reused for a long time if the warlords deem it necessary in order to keep a logistical edge, which they certainly will. If radios, we’ll bounce signals off the ionosphere and be in comms with Europe. Pacific a bit harder, Australia will be cut off from whatever becomes of “white” civilization. This means to me, despite fragility of digital data, the ease of replication and the scale of potential communications will enable a higher floor and quicker rebound.

Kevin C. says:

> We will not go all the way back to the early iron age.

Why not? It seems possible to me, particularly in a Global Haiti scenario. (As a South African guest on a podcast put it, “the US has already become Brazil, Brazil is becoming South Africa, South Africa is becoming Haiti, and this process will inevitably continue to its endpoint of Global Haiti.”)

Can some inbred Afghan goat-herders and room-temperature-IQ Africans even maintain that “nineteenth century workshop,” let alone use it to build another, in the event they’re all that’s left of humanity?

Mayflower Sperg says:

“Inbred Afghan goat-herders” are quite capable of it; the workshops in Darra Adam Khel manufacture hundreds of guns every day.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FinRqCocwGE

Africans OTOH force women and children to dig for diamonds, which they barter for Chinese-made guns.

Daddy Scarebucks says:

Even if that were somehow to happen, it’s counterproductive to worry about or plan for. If we fail to prevent such a scenario, then we fail. But nothing is gained from changing our priorities today to make things simpler for a literal stone age civilization to operate; all we would accomplish is to make the dark age into a self-fulfilling prophecy.

We need more energy and more reliable energy to keep civilization going and expanding. If we invest our time and money in scaled-up resource extraction and power generation then we have some chance of success, for whatever value of “some” you want to assign. If we sit around doing nothing because oh no we are all going to be replaced by Arabs and Africans and it’s all over and there’s nothing we can do, then zero chance of success.

I think most doomers don’t actually believe in their own predictions, because if they did, then the only logical choices for them would be either suicide or Mad Max tier banditry.

Varna says:

Re GDP: in places like the US and the UK about 10% of GDP is “imputed rent” – the imaginary money home-owners would make if they rented out their homes. In some parts of the Western EU they tax this same imputed rent – home-owners pay tax on the imaginary money they would have been receiving if they had been renting out their homes. Not surprising, since they’re progressing into taxing unrealized gains these days. And, of course, nominal GDP grows when inflation grows.

There are numbers floating around that between 2011 and 2013 China used more cement than the US between 1900 and 2000. On the one hand, this is easily explained by the robust approach to lifting a billion people out of poverty and placing them (mostly via market mechanisms, unlike the old Soviet central-planning approach) into newly built homes surrounded by newly built roads and bridges and railways and parks, but on the other hand now that China has achieved the average quality of life and income of a gigantic super-urbanized Poland over the last decade, they’re still consuming cement, steel and electricity at a very energetic pace.
Estimates for 2025 on cement are that China uses 50%+ of the world’s produce, the EU under 5%, the US under 3%. Similar with steel.

Now, back in the day, in the 1970s the USSR was also a world leader in cement, steel and electricity production, and agricultural stuff like tractors. But this was subsidized, inefficient, state-planned production and distribution, with everyone cutting corners and putting in more value than was produced, with the internal loss of profit covered by external sales of oil, gas, and weaponry. A reminder that in spite of the geopolitical need to be able to feed itself, the USSR was utterly dependent on grain imports from the US and Canada since 1973, while corrupt (pre-war)Ukraine and Russia achieved world-leading positions as grain-exporters in the 2010s, feeding significant chunks of the third world. In other words – even the ultra-corrupt but still “capitalist” Ukraine could outperform tenfold the old Soviet style of agricultural management.

Red China today appears to be operating actual market mechanics and generating actual profits and stubbornly trying to raise quality of their products year by year. While old Soviet GDP was “imaginary” in the sense of counting sheer output but not quality or cost-effectiveness (if half the grain rots and half the tractors don’t work, it all still counts as glorious people’s economic achievements), and contemporary Western GDP is also to a large extent imaginary in the opposite direction – lots of pretty numbers that do not manifest in the material world as some sort of infrastructure or produce, the Chinks appear to be as close to a “real GDP” as anyone can be. In spite of their own problems with fertility, the age pyramid, and debt. But at least the debt gets turned into real infrastructure and not into an ephemeral dance of numbers.

Europe’s “rearmament” and “reindustrialization” drive today will be a great way to see what is real and what isn’t real. Can the continent at least match North Korea in artillery shell production and South Korea in civilian industrial production? There’s talk of escaping the evil clutches of US social media by introducing properly curated progressive EU social media. Will they be able to at least reach the level of older generation Russian social media like “vkontakte” and “odnoklasniki” and “rutube”?

And how all of this combine with the “we achieve green communist utopia between 2030 and 2050” thing? Back in the 1960s the Soviet commies promised to achieve their utopia by the year 1980, and then 1980 came and they decided to pretend that what they meant is what they actually managed to achieve, by the mid-1980s shops started going empty and the diversity-heavy parts of the union begun exploding into violence and going at each other’s throats, and by 1990 it all collapsed.

Women will eventually adjust their behavior down to be more aligned with their market value which has been kept artificially astronomically high but now technology will make it much lower.

Milosevic says:

Jim says:

> Women will eventually adjust their behavior down to be more aligned with their market value.

Nuts.

Female sexual conduct does not respond to rational incentives, cannot possibly respond to rational incentives, because females cannot attain the ancestral environment of successful reproduction by rational conduct. If a woman were to act rationally, she would get stuck in the defect/defect equilibrium of prisoner’s dilemma. Sucessful reproduction necessarily requires her to act in a manner such that an alpha male will apply a stick to her backside to save her from herself.

The Cominator says:

Hoeflation will eventually pop if their value is lower but im agnostic on how it will play out.

Jim says:

> Hoeflation will eventually pop if their value is lower

Nuts. It absolutely will not pop. If it was possible for the hoemarket to become rational, rationality would have started biting in the late seventies.

It is just logically impossible for market forces to take effect, because the problem is not sex, which is for women cheap and abundant, but cooperate/cooperate equilbrium, which is unattainable by individual market choices.

Women have been setting an utterly unrealistic price on themselves since the late sixties, early seventies, and it is has only become ever more unrealistic. As women get more and more frustrated, and hornier and hornier, they escalate their bad behavior, and their porn becomes more and more explicit about what they want men to do about it.

I know women. The hoemarket has been irrational all my life, and has only become ever more irrational. If it was going to pop, would have popped a very long time ago.

There are concrete practical pragmatic game theoretic reasons why women cannot respond rationally to sexual market forces, and even stronger evolutionary psychological game theoretic reasons.

The Cominator says:

So how will it correct, Bronze Age Collapse?

Jim says:

Most states, empires, religions, peoples, and tribes with this malady perish, or the males perish while hiding out in their single mother’s basements while the women join the harems of more virile and manly conquerors.

The Japanese recovered patriarchy during feudal anarchy, the Chinese as a result of partial conquest by the patriarchal Jurgen. Assyria and China avoided the bronze age collapse by conscripting women.

Bronze Age China escaped the Bronze Age collapse by the magistrate forcibly marrying off girls still single over fifteen and men still single over twenty, which imposition on men would imply state restrictions on divorce, a state enforced obligation of care and maintenance upon the husband, and a duty of penis in vagina sex on both parties. One would hope there was also a duty of obedience upon the wife, but if the wife has a duty of penis in vagina sex, the rest is going to take care of itself.

This solution is a common trope in female porn, most famously “The Handmaid’s Tale”. But there are a lot of stories that presuppose a similar state policy. Age for females that the story envisages varies from sixteen to twenty two, have not seen fifteen in the web comics, but since there is a whole lot of odd perversion in the web comics, doubtless that age and far younger has been covered. Also there is a tendency for the story to say sixteen while the art says nine. The supposedly almost twenty two year old characters in the webcomic where the age limit was twenty two looked a whole lot younger than any of the adult characters, looked about fourteen or fifteen, consistent with the Bronze Age China limit, and the sixteen year old character where the age limit was sixteen was rather short and had a boyish lack of curves.

Daddy Scarebucks says:

I’m not sure if it’s what Com is saying, but I do think this is complementary to what Heartiste used to say many years ago about the hypothetical sexbot future, which is that a major deflation in women’s SMV will cause the men to act differently, specifically cultivating a much more widespread abundance mentality. Which would, indirectly, also cause women to behave differently toward those men who no longer consider them very important, but that’s beside the point.

If you combine sex bots (not yet in production) with egg markets (very much in production) then in a somewhat superficial sense you end up in a place where men can have all their biological needs met without having to deal with any woman’s shit tests… or their shit in general. Now, I think this is a little reductive, and we still need to ask the question of whether a typical man wants to raise even one child, never mind an entire family, without a proper wife. But without a doubt there is going to be some subset of men who opt for it, as there already are even with only half the equation.

And I think the sex bots are coming. Not now, but soon. LLMs already make better conversational partners than a lot of women do, voice synthesis is getting more and more convincing (thanks Google!) and for all the physical movements we have billions of hours of not only 2D real porn but also 3D porn simulations to train it on. Obviously none of the “respectable” AI or robotics companies operating today want to be the one to let that genie out of the bottle, but it’s only a matter of time before someone with the capital and know-how decides to cash in on the potential trillion-dollar industry.

So if the pleasure side can be handled by a robot or doll-on-steroids, and the childbearing side can be handled by a third-world surrogate or artificial womb, and the parenting side can be handled by a wet nurse/nanny, then what’s the value of an average woman? Still quite a bit higher than all that, if we’re being honest, but it starts to look less like a scarce and precious resource and more like a premium upgrade, like owning a McMansion vs. renting a nice apartment. Men will go into every real-world interaction with much higher risk tolerance and higher expectations.

I don’t celebrate this possible future, nor do I think it’s a sure thing; but it is a plausible future, and would likely be an improvement on the present 1-does-30. Obviously old-school patriarchy and monogamous marriage is a lot better than either, but we’re starting to build up a track record of using novel economics and functioning material technology to (poorly, but not completely ineffectively) replace failing social technology.

Jim says:

I don’t think technological solutions can get us to 2.1 fertility short of cultured ovarian tissue, artificial wombs, and realistically priced sexbots capable of performing nanny and household services.

Furthermore tech solutions are difficult, expensive, and rather unsatisfactory. Conscription is easy and works. Look, our young female population is going insane. It really is our duty to save them. It really is what they really want: Big daddy to sort out their painfully sad and unsatisfactory sex lives with an iron fist.

Why is no one willing to do the glaringly obvious?

Fidelis says:

Why is no one willing to do the glaringly obvious?

The Chinese LLMs are capable of answering this directly.

It’s a political structure problem. Here is a, not great but short at least, summary of the key points. My own summary in a sentence: we have no political leaders with enough power and legitimacy to go against the global order, which has structural economic and political components in every modern nation.

The structural problem: modern states systematically disadvantage median men in marriage and reproduction through no-fault divorce, asymmetric custody, and economic marginalization. This creates a large, technically competent, motivationally available male population.

Why democracies won’t fix it: women are 50% of voters and cohesive on autonomy issues; men are fragmented. Female workforce participation boosts short-term GDP while birthrate collapse is a 20-year lagging indicator. Family law industries profit from adversarial systems. Equality frameworks cannot acknowledge sex-differentiated outcomes without self-negation.

Why autocrats won’t fix it: Putin’s oligarchs store assets in the West and he needs women in the war economy. Xi’s legitimacy rests on growth, not gender bargains, and he needs urban female workers. Orban and MENA leaders face EU membership and global respectability constraints. All face elite global asset exposure and economic interdependence.

Why no demagogue has exploited it: the guarantee requires power, power requires organization, organization requires demonstrated credibility. Cannot prove without achieving, cannot achieve without proof. Modern surveillance detects proto-organizations early. The international system isolates and destroys attempts. Implementation requires total social reorganization, not mere policy.

The space remains open because coordination technology improves, state legitimacy degrades, and male deprivation intensifies. But entry barriers exceed individual actor capacity even as they erode over time. Timeline: 10-40 years, contingent on institutional failure.

Brubaker says:

> I don’t think technological solutions can get us to 2.1 fertility

We need to return to Woman-1.0.
Woman are in tune with Nature.
Nature is all things Womanly… giving birth from beauty, tending nature of the Farm and Garden, helping largely from within the Home so that the Men can succeed in what they are optimized to do out in the wild, coordinating and bringing up the young womenfolk, etc.

With the right rhetoric, the return to Woman-1.0 should sell itself such that women would flock to it.

I suspect the return awaits a critical mass of publicly visible 1.0 Men located in a contiguous area.

Amish, Mormon, LibertarianNH, some Alt orgs, are probably the closest examples.

So far, only the Amish have been able to establish/keep/grow adjoining Land Parcels, and follow a based 1.0 meme.

Create a subscriptive, exclusive, easily followable meme… buy the first parcel, and go from there.

Men can come together and get 100 to 10,000 acres contiguous adjoining without much difficulty.

Brubaker says:

> publicly visible

Meaning visible to Women that the Men invite to come live with them there, such that the Woman senses these Men have built something for them.

Not visible in that there’s no need to go around advertising it.

You put Horses, Sheep, Chickens, Farms, Houses, Factory, Church, School, Research Labs on it… invited Women will happily stay.

Should be near an ocean, so you have International access once you’re able to grow to Sovereign size, secession or mass adoption.

Anon says:

Can a man in his late thirties / early forties , pull a 16 to 21 year old in this day and age ?
Seem quite impossible. You will get destroyed by law or even killed as it happen to some guy in England.

But what the behavior, the man had to project to be able to do that ? The mentality he should have ?

Jim says:

> Can a man in his late thirties / early forties , pull a 16 to 21 year old in this day and age ?

Well, I am married second time around over a thirty year difference, so, probably. Lots of good posts on game, among them my own.

But it is hard enough even if you are not facing a big age difference, and it gets a lot harder when you are. I had to really work at it.

Anon says:

“the sixteen year old character where the age limit was sixteen was rather short and had a boyish lack of curves.“

Lmao , I just came across an old manga, they are planning to make an anime about it. That you described to a tee.
Red river 1995
by Chie Shinohara “a woman”
A story about a fifteen year old japanese girl, suspiciously look like a nine year old , get pulled literally from the present to ancient Anatolia during the peak of Hittite empire , then a multiple gang rapes and manly princes fight over her ensues with a pregnancy and miscarriage thrown in.

Jim, wonder if you read it.

Brubaker says:

> Can a man in his late thirties / early forties , pull a 16 to 21 year old in this day and age ?

So a 20 year difference, and specifically to low end.
Same old question, same old answer.
Humans are ultimately guided by potential for successful reproduction, and have covered that need via roughly equal ages, with the Man often a couple years senior, with cultural locales differing a fair to larger number further, especially in centuries past.
Yes, 40 age guys can pull dates, fucks, talk-friends… well down into the 20’s ages.
If you don’t want kids, the relationship doesn’t have the below time constraints.
But if you’re talking for reproductive real family (ie: marriage and well raised kids), the length of time needed for that is at least 16y to 25y/lifetime, so you need to offer the woman/family something her “normal” age matchup doesn’t.
Either way, answer is same as always… some combination of stability, maturity, shelter, money, appearance, confidence, charm, wisdom, lead, discipline, standing, sincerity in what you seek and why, etc.
Obviously the closer you get to breaking the Law/Taboo/Custom in the Land, the lesser your chance of good outcome.
Men don’t get killed unless they’re ineligible scumbuckets, or trying to pop a virgin without her guardian’s consent (ie: marriage), taking another mans woman, crossing religious/class/family lines, or breaking Capital Law.

Jim says:

> Obviously the closer you get to breaking the Law/Taboo/Custom in the Land, the lesser your chance of good outcome.

Your advice on women is absolutely terrible. Do not give advice. Have you ever had a woman?

Regrettably, what is attractive to women is almost the reverse of the qualities that you list. In this regard the black pillers have, not the truth, but an important part of the truth.

Putting you on moderation for responding to a crimethought adjacent question with the official non crime thought state sponsored answer.

Please take the shill test described in the moderation policy.

Daddy Scarebucks says:

I don’t think technological solutions can get us to 2.1 fertility

I never said they could. I said that these attempts at technological workarounds for failing social technology are likely to come out regardless, and that they will likely change men’s and by extension women’s behavior in ways that are somewhat alien, and definitely suboptimal, but may still be an improvement on the dismal state of today.

Furthermore tech solutions are difficult, expensive, and rather unsatisfactory.

Well, of course. They wouldn’t be very profitable if they were easy or cheap, and every technology is unsatisfactory in the 1.0 version.

Conscription [of women] is easy and works.

Works, definitely. Easy, definitely not. It is easy like deporting third-worlders is easy. They can’t put up much physical resistance, but their resistance isn’t the problem, it’s resistance in your own ranks. The people who do it successfully make it look easy, because the actual process is very easy once you have all the preparations in place, and because the preparation, which no one sees, was the difficult part.

Why is no one willing to do the glaringly obvious?

Because no single world leader has the necessary amount of balls, power, political capital and red-pilled outlook. And because aside from a few Islamic monarchies, most of the world is still running on democracy or the fumes of democracy, with women’s suffrage, and when you have women’s suffrage the #1 rule of politics is “no scaring the hoes”.

You know as well as I do that it’s a coup-complete problem and we are nowhere close to a coup. Closer than we were last decade, yes, but still a long way off.

The Cominator says:

“Sucessful reproduction necessarily requires her to act in a manner such that an alpha male will apply a stick to her backside to save her from herself.”
I would also sort of quibble with this. So if we take hard drug use as bad and self destructive behavior women getting into or who have a bad drug problem (and I’ve seen this because as a sperg the minority of chicks who like me tend to be bipolar or BPD and generally have some kind of drug problem so I’ve seen this enough and I hate hard drugs and heavy drinking) do not prefer guys who will save them from drugs they tend to go for guys who have drugs and who encourage them to do drugs. Women in general tend to be strongly attracted and bonded to men who “corrupt” them. You’ve said in the past that women often prefer to be rescued by black knights, I would argue that generally from anything but imminent physical danger they don’t want to be rescued at all at least from bad and self destructive behavior.

Jim says:

> they don’t want to be rescued at all at least from bad and self destructive behavior.

You need to make the distinction between conscious desire, and unconscious desire, manifest in behaviors that wind up strangely failing to fulfill what they think they want.

Women engage in self destructive behavior in order to be rescued, even though they strongly and bitterly resist such rescue — but they are never going to engage in the obvious form of resistance, which is calling the cops on the black knight rescuer, because that form of resistance might actually work.

The Cominator says:

Women who reform themselves from the brink of these things… its generally because they saw their close friend die or something traumatic that scared the shit out of them and makes them want to turn back from the brink of self destruction. With some type of chicks (BPD chicks who are hitting the wall and don’t feel they have a man who loves them enough to deal with their bullshit no matter what) its worse because the self destructive behaviors are often very deliberately a method of delayed suicide (they don’t want to take the irrevocable step of putting a gun to their head and pulling the trigger because fear they just want to act in a way that will make them likely not be around for much longer) and absolutely nothing beyond perhaps your caricatures of abduction/rape by a high status crimelord vampire to a foreign land.

Now once again its something I’ve encouraged I would never personally encourage any drug use among chicks (other than moderate level smoking of tobacco) but its what I’ve seen…

Jim says:

> Women who reform themselves from the brink of these things…

Women don’t reform themselves. They are the weaker vessel. They somehow wind up in circumstances where someone else reforms them.

Milosevic says:

> Conscription is easy and works.

Is this true? It doesn’t match my experience. It is quite difficult, and I’ve noticed the same in the life of the men around me, most very successful otherwise.

Men have completely lost this battle. All the game advice in the world doesn’t help either, as most men can’t keep the facade up for 40 years. It’s a terrible situation. There is a reason the dynamic between the sexes was created from a societal level, rather than the individual. It’s not sustainable, from an individual level.

> Furthermore tech solutions are difficult, expensive, and rather unsatisfactory.

Well, I have news for you…

Jim says:

> > Conscription is easy and works.

> Is this true? It doesn’t match my experience.

No one in the modern world has experience of states conscripting women for reproduction.

> Men have completely lost this battle.

Most men, yes, but some men, myself among them, are doing OK.

> There is a reason the dynamic between the sexes was created from a societal level, rather than the individual. It’s not sustainable, from an individual level.

It is certainly very hard from the individual level. But when I said conscription, I was proposing it for society, rather than as an individual tactic. Though as an individual tactic, has its uses. When the iron is hot, abduct.

This has, as mentioned, been sometimes used in real life as imperial policy by empires facing reproductive crisis, and it is common enough in female porn to be called a trope — not very common, not big enough to qualify a genre or category title, but common enough.

In female porn set in aristocratic world (most female porn), the trope is imperial policy, loosely based on the real life example, and reflecting the rather low age limit of the real life policy. In female porn set in steampunk world, it is the policy of a theocratic republic, and mostly has somewhat later ages, as for example the Republic of Gilead in “the Handmaid’s Tale”, which all the feminists read one handed.

In the imperial version of the trope, it is implemented in a somewhat even handed way. Men shall support women, or else, shall give them charge of their households, or else. Women shall obey, serve, and bear children for men, or else. In the steampunk version it is a somewhat onesided imposition on women. Women are forced to marry, men are not, and the deal is sufficiently favorable to men that supply of wives is still a little short. Which numbers do not seem to add up unless the rich and powerful are doing a bit of polygamy, as in the Republic of Gilead. But, in the steampunk version, men are conscripted for war, women to produce more soldiers and taxpayers, so it is still fair — war is a terrible burden on men, and childbearing a terrible burden on women. Soldiers and taxpayers get wives, bums get slim pickings, and the surplus is accommodated by certain amount of indulgence in limited, restricted, and controlled polygamy for the privileged.

> All the game advice in the world doesn’t help either, as most men can’t keep the facade up for 40 years.

I have kept the facade up for rather longer than that. It gets easier.

Jim says:

> > Furthermore tech solutions are difficult, expensive, and rather unsatisfactory.

> Well, I have news for you…

Tell me when the sexbots can pass for human longer than in a sixteen second clip.

When they can sort a laundry basked, make a meal, and find where I left my car keys, then I am buying.

Milosevic says:

> No one in the modern world has experience of states conscripting women for reproduction.

You are correct, I was speaking as an individual.

> I have kept the facade up for rather longer than that. It gets easier.

You are a very unique individual jim, it’s hard to generalise from this.

> Tell me when the sexbots can pass for human longer than in a sixteen second clip.
> When they can sort a laundry basked, make a meal, and find where I left my car keys, then I am buying.

I think it would be silly to not take technological advancements at face value. If you have the resources to access top tier female genetics and then pay someone else to carry the child to term, why not do it? Why should your line die with you because of the circumstances of the current day? Musk is promising in a few years (I know, Musk time) a robot that can perform any number of day to day tasks. Why not take advantage of that to keep your house in order? In the future you will also have sexbots, and until then the oldest profession in history. The latter which I prefer because it will arguably be more pleasant and at least keeps the value of women to at least $200/hour instead of zero.

A marriage to an beautiful, obedient, kind woman with a few kids is the ideal. But in the case that the ideal is not available, a rough approximation is not a bad replacement. The alternative to both is far worse.

Neurotoxin says:

“All the game advice in the world doesn’t help either, as most men can’t keep the facade up for 40 years.”

Why do people keep saying stuff like this? It’s all wrong. You don’t have to keep a facade up for 40 years because after you have established a long-term relationship you don’t have to keep acting like an extreme asshole 99% of the time. Also, acting “like an asshole” is internalized and becomes natural anyway. Also, you aren’t “keeping up a facade,” because you naturally WANT to pass shit tests. No man wants to fail shit tests. Who are all these people who keep saying the pressure of “maintaining a facade” is too hard or whatever? Acting all nice and being sexually frustrated, versus acting “like an asshole” and getting pussy is no comparison.

Milosevic says:

This is capeshit.

Women can and will escalate shit tests where passing means you could plausibly be arrested by the police. If you think a modern professionally-minded man can “naturally” deal with these you are delusional.

I personally know some very good men, extremely successful, who are completely in thrall to their wives because of the leverage the modern world gives women over men. It is anything but trivial for men to get this right.

I am not trying to doom here, I’m just tired of people saying how easy this stuff is, because it is anything but, and the state of affairs in the west tells us it is anything but.

Have you been married for thirty years with kids? If not, your “advice” is useless.

Jim says:

> Women can and will escalate shit tests where passing means you could plausibly be arrested by the police

Been there done that.

> Have you been married for thirty years with kids? If not, your “advice” is useless.

Yes, been married for thirty years with kids, wife died, remarried to a woman three decades younger than myself.

And in all my posts on game, never told anyone that it is easy or it is safe.

Milosevic says:

Of course a wife is the vastly more preferred option and I am working on that myself but I don’t think we should be so quick to rule out taking advantage of technological advancements that benefit us.

Neurotoxin says:

This is capeshit.

You’re a dork.

I am not trying to doom here, I’m just tired of people saying how easy this stuff is

Some of it is, in fact, easy. Some is hard. The hardest is passing a shit test that you are not expecting, one that comes out of the blue. If you’re going to tell me that none of it is easy then I’m just going to repeat, you’re a dork.

Or maybe it is harder wherever you live. I’m not claiming anything about how it is in the UK or wherever.

Have you been married for thirty years with kids? If not, your “advice” is useless.

Welcome feds! Thank you for trying to get me to doxx myself! I’m not going to do that, so I’ll just have to say that I’m speaking from experience. What if I’ve been married for 28 years? Does that count? And if you say you don’t believe me, then gosh, I’ll just have to find a way to live with that. For the rest of it, I’ll just let Jim’s answer be the response to you.

Aside from Jim, I know plenty of men who have been married with children for 30 years – maybe one of them is me, maybe not – and so do you. So cut the crap.

Milosevic says:

By thinking the term dork is insulting you’ve revealed yourself to be a balding millennial faggot.

Being married for thirty years isn’t revealing of anything. I know plenty of men like that. I know sixty year old men who complain that their wife of 40 years doesn’t want to have sex anymore and they just have to grin and bear it otherwise she takes half his stuff and bankrupts his business. I know men in their 30s who now act like slaves because they weren’t quite aware of the state of modern marriage when they made the commitment, and now with kids and a mortgage, they are trapped.

Telling good men who have sacrificed decades of their lives to get in a good position in life that they then need to risk it all plus the risk of imprisonment to fight a lopsided, never-ending battle against their wife is foolish, disgusting and beyond the pale.

Jim says he can handle his wife. I believe it. But to then extrapolate from that that every man could and should do the same is highly dubious.

This needs an institutional fix, or barring that technological workarounds (which Elon Musk is embracing wholeheartedly).

Jim says:

> Being married for thirty years isn’t revealing of anything. I know plenty of men like that. I know sixty year old men who complain that their wife of 40 years doesn’t want to have sex anymore and they just have to grin and bear it otherwise she takes half his stuff and bankrupts his businetyss.

Having sex with a wife of thirty years is not that great. It was the love and companionship that I missed. However, my new wife, who is three decades younger than myself …

Daddy Scarebucks says:

Telling good men who have sacrificed decades of their lives to get in a good position in life that they then need to risk it all plus the risk of imprisonment to fight a lopsided, never-ending battle against their wife is foolish, disgusting and beyond the pale.

I genuinely sympathize, whether readers here believe it or not. However, the simple fact remains that marriage and procreation is a game that you forfeit by refusing to play. Dust to dust, and dust is all you will leave behind.

If you do the Elon Musk thing, or the egg donor and IVF thing, then perhaps you can claim you’ve found a different way to win. If you simply flip the table and walk away, then no matter how righteous your anger is, or how flagrantly your opponent was cheating, you still lose.

You can play fair against ludicrously bad odds, and possibly, with enough luck or skill, still manage to win, like Jim. Or you can try out various cheat codes, like Elon Musk, knowing that they might not work in your copy of the game and you might get banned instead. Or you can walk away and lose. Those are your options. It is certainly not foolish, disgusting or beyond the pale to tell men not to forfeit the game, no matter how low the odds of winning, because a slim chance of winning is better than none at all.

One can argue that playing and losing is so much worse than forfeiting because you’ve invested all that time and money, and might lose your car, and your dog, and whatever other assets you have, which is true enough, but is it really so great to be wiling away one’s years in a one-bedroom apartment playing video games and watching porn? Are those things so precious to you that you can’t afford to risk losing them to a bad marriage? What exactly is this “good position in life” that is genuinely good despite having no progeny and no prospects?

Milosevic says:

I don’t disagree. I think giving up is the worst option. I didn’t suggest giving up.

I don’t like playing fair either. Just like in business, I want as lopsided an advantage as possible. I think it’s downright retarded to play fair in a game that is rigged against you in every possible way. You need to walk away, or start rigging the game yourself.

The progress in technology (AI, robotics, crypto) is going to transform everything and allow patterns of existence that were unthinkable even five years ago. If I can get what I want out of marriage – without the considerable downside – I would be foolish to not consider it. Even still, if I found the right woman, it would be very difficult to walk away…

All you have to do is make it through the current filter. Perhaps your children will be able to live in a more ideal world.

Fidelis says:

A few weeks ago I made the argument that if you are a high earning male that wants children born from good genetic material and less drama, less not none, you should probably go the IVF and surrogate route. If you are not entirely attached to the US geographically the cost of child care is rather low, including live-in wet nurse. I was not taken seriously, but I sincerely believe in the thesis.

Not sure how long the window for this stays open. I suspect they tighten it in the US but fail to tighten it abroad. No one wants to tell women they can’t sell their eggs, and no one wants to tell faggots they cannot have a child. There’s also legitimate male-female couples that require surrogates because of infertility, and this will be far down the list of “problems” NGO types go after, because there’s very little power or money in it, and the people involved are far away from the chuds you want to hammer, and it’s weird enough it will always be more of a fringe thing. Most likely, unless and until they conscript women, or total collapse of the supply chain, you will have an opportunity to have many children via purchased eggs and wombs. If you find yourself squeezed, marry some third world girl and pay a tithing to her family, or more cynically a third world man and pretend to be homo, and present yourself as a ‘legitimate’ case for the system.

I wouldn’t rely on this staying an opportunity in the US proper, but I suspect globally there will be options.

Daddy Scarebucks says:

For the record, the part that I/we didn’t take seriously was the suggestion that this is actually a better arrangement than a traditional wife in a traditional household. It is obviously a thing, but it is a thing for men who feel like they have no other options, and maybe some men who are very high on the ‘spectrum’ and don’t feel or want to feel any emotional attachment to the whole thing.

(Well, that and the fact that it was first posted in a bizarrely off-topic context. But now it is the actual topic, so we can put that aside.)

or more cynically a third world man and pretend to be homo

Why even bother with third world? Men know how to coordinate, and I think two non-homo men could easily agree to stage a fake wedding for the legal status and then raise their own biological families in their own separate households. It’s not like government agents are going to be showing up every other day to ensure there’s actual sodomy going on (I know, I know, don’t give them ideas).

It’s not really so different from a godfather arrangement, or a simple business partnership. Obviously you don’t have the benefit of reliable contractual enforcement, but seems to me that neither man really has any incentive to cause problems, since the other man’s IVF kids… aren’t his.

This is all so, so much worse than just fixing the woman problem, especially if you try to extend it out multiple generations (where are all the aunts, uncles and grandparents?) but if we’re making predictions as to how people will game the system when the feminized elite try to crack down, my money’s on completely fake gay marriages by heteros, same way the faggots used to get fake actual marriages with beards.

Mayflower Sperg says:

Not going to work, because real fags will take one look at you and your alleged husband, and they’ll know you’re faking it.

If that weren’t enough, your reaction when a fag offers to suck your dick tells him all he needs to know.

Contaminated NEET says:

Sure, but will they “know” in a way that’s legible to a bureaucracy? What’s the procedure for that? Are they going to enshrine gaydar in law? The fag apparatchik might well torpedo your surrogacy, but he’s committing a crime and putting his career in jeopardy by doing so. The system is not going to want to punish him, nor let you move forward, and it will bend the rules as far as they will bend, obviously. Someone skilled in “manipulating procedural outcomes,” though, could probably win some serious victories against them. As Alinsky said, “Make the enemy live up to his own book of rules.”

Jim says:

You think the bureaucracy and the judiciary pay any attention to law and regulations?

Obviously they do not believe that law applies to them, only to us.

> As Alinsky said, “Make the enemy live up to his own book of rules.”

This works for the sons of the father of lies against the children of God. Does not work for us against them.

The rule of law was always a thin cover for the rule of priests, and now that cover has become transparent and developed large ragged holes, through which we can see that the priests are possessed by demons, literal or metaphorical.

The Cominator says:

If you’re marked in the bureaucrats file as a right wing enemy they may know to do that. If the file they get doesn’t have a political credit score it may goes as CN says and they will be reluctant to question your faggot status… I don’t think its quite as simple as either of your versions. Bureaucrats don’t generally follow the law except as they interpet it but they definitely follow the procedures their superiors tell them to (which may at some level tangentially relate to the law) + sometimes shortcuts so they can do as little work as possible.

Daddy Scarebucks says:

Apparently I woke up today in an evil parallel universe where Neet is actually open to the possibility of a loophole and everyone else is saying “no you can’t beat the system ever”.

Sperg’s casual and automatic use of the word “you” seems to imply that I’m considering such an arrangement for myself, but I have no need of such chicanery in my own life; as I’ve repeatedly stated, I am not debating (in this case) what is right, what is best or what anyone should do, I am simply inferring what will happen or is likely to happen by extrapolating current trends.

People cheat. Men pretend to be troons, pretend to be mystery gender, pretend to be homo, pretend to be whatever the current thing is in order to get ahead. They do it because it works, and for every case you hear about, there are a hundred cases you don’t. Haven’t you ever heard the phrase “gay for pay”, or read the thousands of stories about the latest man in a dress, who isn’t even making a serious effort to present as feminine, winning a big prize at some women’s sport?

The opportunities for such exploitation ebb and shift, some will close and others will open, but throughout it all there will be individuals skilled enough to find and exploit them. Likely more skilled at that than they are at doing the monkey dance with a real woman and running a Marriage 1.0 household. Winning legit is hard, cheat codes are easy.

I have seen the low-profile, low-libido homo lifestyle. Not in the bedroom, obviously, but had them as coworkers and even friends, and heard far more than I ever wanted to hear about their “marriage” and adoption antics. It’s really not hard, and they don’t use fixers; it’s just money and paperwork, with any nominal rules being typically enforced with the same level of total apathy and incompetence as the clot shots were in the early 2020s. I’m sure there are fixers, for some of the much more horrifying spirit-cooking type stuff going on at elite levels, but we’re talking about ordinary(ish) chumps who rarely get noticed at all.

The system is designed for the enemies of civilization, yes, but this part of the system is designed more specifically to cover up abuse. In other words, the faggots and other degenerates who avail themselves of the system rely precisely on the fact that it does not look too closely at what’s really going on in their households. The bureaucrats do not want to know, because if the bureaucrats knew, they’d be liable, and one thing the typically somnolent and bovine general public still really does not like hearing about is children being groomed and abused by faggots. So they have to make everything look squeaky-clean, it’s totally fine, no problems with these “families” or their “children” at all, and in order to do so, have to pay as little attention as possible and insist on their right to “privacy”.

At worst, maybe the fake-butt-buddies have to find a few people to bribe along the way. I doubt very much that this loophole closes unless and until gay marriage is reversed and fags are forced back into the closet.

Or the loophole may never become necessary at all. It is primarily women who might oppose the “industrialization” of IVF; the homos and assorted degenerates are going to object, because any restrictions would in practice make things more difficult for them as well, and in any political battle between women and sexual degenerates, degenerates usually win.

I don’t share Fidelis’s enthusiasm for it, but the IVF single-father option is only going to grow in popularity over the coming years unless someone actually does come along to solve the woman problem nation-wide, which isn’t too likely.

Jim says:

> unless someone actually does come along to solve the woman problem nation-wide, which isn’t too likely.

Here is the reactionary plan. The Republic is undead. Sooner or later, Caesar, or perhaps Caesar Augustus, will seize power. And find he has a hostile state religion. Even if he is initially a leftist, and is trying to restore “our democracy” he will find himself, like Cromwell, outflanked to the left. He will need a state religion. Like Stalin or Xi, he might try to limp along with an undead zombie state religion, but we are the only live potential state religion on offer. And the core plank is re-implementing marriage 1.0 as prescribed in the New Testament.

Everyone is sick of marriage 2.0. The men are not getting any, and the women are going crazy.

But marriage 1.0 is fundamentally inconsistent with female emancipation. Women are inherently maladapted to making their own sexual and reproductive choices, and it is hard to imagine a system where they can do so, and we do not collapse into defect/defect equilibrium, marriage 2.0. Sex and reproduction is a prisoner’s dilemma problem, which cannot be resolved by individual free choice.

Daddy Scarebucks says:

Here is the reactionary plan

You’re preachin’ to the choir, my man. I’ve been on board with that plan since before Moldbug went namefag.

But that plan involves a lot of waiting. And while we wait, I expect to see clumsy, awkward, needlessly complicated technological solutions become more popular, in which a man pays 4 women and 2 corporations to fulfill the same functions as a single wife and mother, because as crappy as that is, it’s slightly less crappy for the bottom 80% of men than the modern dating market and Marriage 2.0.

Fidelis says:

What scenario are you imagining? They’re sending agents to your house to investigate if you’re a real homo? What?

This is some “just sign the dotted line” level box checking. The status quo is fob yellows in California buying white eggs for haches worth of surrogate children. You’re thinking that they have their shit together enough to globally enforce fag checking?

The idea is you get your government paperwork butt buddy so you can check the boxes the nursing attendant gives you on her own little clipboard. This isn’t hard. Why do people pretend this state full of DEI and sexual degenerates and literal mentally disabled retards is somehow going to competently enforce a global anti-surrogate campaign against all straights? They throw a bunch of mud everywhere and make the legal channels obscure and difficult but have trouble banning anything not on their Current Thing checklist.

Jim says:

> What scenario are you imagining? They’re sending agents to your house to investigate if you’re a real homo? What?

He is imagining the scenario where he has to interact with bureaucrats over all the medical procedures and the legalities.

> This is some “just sign the dotted line” level box checking.

In practice, anytime you have to deal with this sort of thing, you need a fixer to grease the right wheels, even the gays need a fixer to grease the right wheels. You want to put up a garden shed larger than ten square meters, you need a fixer.

And the fixers for this sort of thing are all in the lavender mafia.

Fidelis says:

Which bureaucrats? You interact with: the county court to register your butt buddy status; the nursing assistant with standardized paperwork (who is working for an agency that really wants your money).

You are projecting a competent state. The state is good at wrecking things, not blocking them. Look at how they failed to get their favorite covid restrictions in place. Years went by and people still making laminated business cards hand written in blue ink. Covid was the Current Thing the Most Important Thing, and they couldn’t get anything that wasn’t incredibly easily faked, and they couldn’t even get Mexico to shut down.

To shut this down would be an international effort across LatAm, Africa, SEA and Central Asia. Not happening anytime soon. Wont even be on their radar, outside the US and other GAE centers at least, until and unless you see more than a fringe doing it. The leftists have bigger fish to fry, like genociding everyone in the lower 48 and western Europe for having right wing thoughts at one point.

alf says:

… Maybe? It’s a fun scheme, I’ll say that much. Foolproof, hardly, since news just tends to get around. Bureaucrats aren’t always 1000 miles away. People gossip, and hetero men pretending to be gay is exactly the kind of gossip people love. But hey, don’t let the cynics stop you ^_^.

Fidelis says:

Unserious henpecking. Leftist passive voice as well, “oh I sure hope *something* doesn’t happen to you~”. All of it a digression from the core point, which is actually interesting, in order to discuss trivialities, which are not. Your family is also illegal, Alf. Sure would be a shame if some bureaucrat caught wind of how you’re abusing your kids with this patriarchy stuff. Not so pleasant to hear passive voice idle speculation is it?

The core point is this avenue is wide open. Evidence, all the actual kids everywhere, in California of all places. Imagine whats under the floorboards elsewhere. You think journos are smart enough to look for this? You think fertility clinics, which have seen heavy patronage by the few extant right wing donors, aren’t aware of where they stand, and advertise what they’re doing to NGOs? Argue with this, instead of taking a tangent, literally a fraction of a sentence in my first post, and running with hypotheticals. The only opposition I see is “it will be banned,” okay but it’s not. Right now it’s an option. You’re proposing a hypothetical and declaring it fact. The evidence plain in your face is that it is not banned, yet you want to make hypothetical strawmen to beat. Isn’t this exactly the “cop in your head” you’re not supposed to listen to?

I would rather hear disagreement that doesn’t sound like some driveby “no u.” The serious disagreements are: difficult (true), may be banned (possibly), not stable cross generations or a salve for civilization (true, but neither is game). None of these insurmountable. Looks like it’s a reasonable option if you don’t mind taking the odd path and are more concerned about the genetoc health of your legacy than having a helpmeet. You can “send your kids to dagestan, 2 years no looking” — a meme in case you hadn’t yet heard it, not literally dagestan, you should be able to guess the meaning I’m pointing at — when they start hitting the teenage years.

Alf says:

I always tend to think of this sort of stuff like the rule for vampires, where they can’t enter your house unless you invite them.

If you allow child protective services in your life, vampires can enter your house. Domestic abuse services, same. Thus if one is in the position, homeschool, because while sending your kids to school is not exactly like inviting vampires, it’s putting your kids in the vicinity of vampires.

That’s my thoughts on dealing with my own illegalities, anyways. Extending that to your idea, the reasoning would be that by asking vampires for permission, you equally allow them to revoke that permission.

Does it really work like that in real life? You argue that incompetence will prevent them from doing so, which might be valid. And to steelman your argument further, even if they’d ‘revoke’ your right, what are they gonna do, kidnap your child?

Well child protective services might kidnap your child. It *does* happen. But all-in-all, your idea might be, as you argue, preferable to being dependent on the goodwill of a woman you intend to game for life, even though as of yet it is a hypothetical idea (I assume) and we’ve yet to see how it works out irl.

Mayflower Sperg says:

Child protective services broke up my family, which is why I’m in the Tian Shan hoping to start a new family in a mountain tribe that doesn’t have such nonsense. I didn’t invite the vampires in; my 58-IQ son invited them by doing stupid things the police couldn’t ignore.

Brubaker says:

Nuclear Reactors are necessary to the survival of the West, there’s no way around this. Solar is nice, but requires batteries and other storage including pumped water. And Solar and Battery is very one-way consumptive of rarer materials to produce it. You need lots of Solar, but also need decades to develop even better Solar solutions. And need baseload before then, like today.

China does not have Shaniqua in charge of Energy, it has lots of Nuclear Energy per watt, and even per Capita, per GDP, GDI, etc.
The West has Shaniqua in charge, especially at the Political level, it’s Energy level is continuing to decrease and fail.

Another nuclear issue is Iran.
Iran has enriched far beyond any civilian use-case percent isotope purity requirement, the only use case for this level is for nuclear weapons. Their honest non-gov pundits do not deny this, and they admit wanting to erase Israel and West… Islam’s vision for the entire world, all of it, is Islam.
Once Islam gets nukes, it will leverage them to extend protection over its Ummah that is performing the Second Muslim Invasion of the West. That’s what Islam does regarding its Ummah, at least when it’s not infighting, or when SHTF.
In Western terms, Islam will do exactly the Putin Strategy… declare that any of its “speakers/culture/religion” its “Ummah” anywhere in the world are under Islam’s protectorate and thus it’s ultimately “legal” to go invade and “rescue/annex/etc” them, bomb the Infidel Capitols. Islam is already voicing this strategy publicly.
When Islam gets Nukes, the West will never again be able to launch the Second Crusade necessary to purge out the Muslim beast from its Western lands, at least not without nuclear war with Islam.
Islam has performed 1400 years of nearly flawless Taqiyya and propaganda prior to and during its first and ongoing second conquest, and internally seeks to not honor any agreement with non-Islam past 10 years. Any negotation Islam makes today will secretly strive to weasel out and break over time as usual, because Quran trumps secular bullshit.
There really is no strategy in which Islam can ever be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons.
Unfortunately the West is weak right now at the exact same time Islam is about to acquire nuclear weapons. That weakness was planned by Dark Forces, but for other purposes, and Islam is attempting to ride in on them.
Ultimately the West has no other option.
Hezbollah and Hamas and IRCG secret tunnels all turned out far more than West really knew.
Delay only multiplies those advancements, on into the nuclear realm.
You only get one chance to stop proliferation.
If you don’t, they proliferate.
But even universal proliferation does not provide peace.
First, everyone’s geopolitical calculus gets exponentially harder, and risk of use grow exponentially higher. Second, you get the next future weapons advancement, from the first inventor, to everyone else, and so on.
You either get 100% full access-all-areas inspection forever, and some grand peace paradigm on top, which are usually only good for about 100 years, unless peace becomes treated as a faith virtue and advancing science, which it is nowhere near becoming yet, anywhere on earth, only passive pacifism.
Or you have to knock the proliferators down.
Unfortunately the world only gives you two options… survive and prosper, or fall to betters in the game.
There is no such thing as International Law… naught but Anarchy, Convenience, and some longer term-Friends between Sovereigns.
Iraq was neocon hopium bullshit.
Today, no one disputes the fact that Iran has the refined uranium, which constitutes proof of both program and intent, and has the Quran which commands conquest proven out by 1400 years of History.
Even if the West never did Iraq et al before, the Shia’s and Sunni’s would still proliferate just so they could nuke each other, and protect their Hijra Jihad Conquest upon everyone else.

So… Unpopular opinion… given the future intractibility of Islam’s desired “Umbrella Option” over its Ummah’s ongoing Second Conquest of the West, and Israel’s own concerns of getting wiped out, and the chance to at least try to set a standard that all future proliferation in the World will be prevented one way or another…
Israel+US decision will be to flatten Iran’s weapons infra, kill their combined Policrat-Theocrat regime heads, let the Shah return under non-proliferation terms, form a Persian partnership in non-proliferation, for the world.

I suspect the decision has already been made, save any last minute capitulation, and/or some obvious not-obvious face-saving plot-twist undertaken by both sides (Clogged Toilets, and the Ayatollah dies of Dysentery, lol).

(If I saw some entity enriching, that has already foresworn to and invaded raped killed enslaved my peoples going on two conquests of my lands now for 1400 years… I’d give them 24 hours, and if they don’t comply, easiest decision ever.)

(Same as I would not hesitate to shut down the entire Left Wing of the US Congress, all its bullshit NGO’s, the Lefto Governors, and the Globalists they all serve.)

Someone’s got to do it, no point in waiting, or trying to make everyone happy.

Lost Opportunity Cost is nearly always fatal in the end.

Brubaker says:

> Located on Pakistani territory, sure. But i doubt the Pakistanis can launch then at will. They belong to other states

False.

Pak’s program was mostly natively done, with some US help in early non-weapons science labs, UK help in initial reprocessing, and AQKhan the Islamic proliferator spy stealing a lot from Urenco and wherever else he could network including UK/US/RU, German collaborators, Saudi’s who helped with big funding, and Chinese wink-nudge and dual-use. They were hot in 84, and tested in 98.

Israel and India had plans to stop Pakistan, but chickened out from actually doing the bombing raid right before the test.

So now Paki-Islam has 150+ fully Sovereign warheads, plus delivery via Ballistic Silos/Mobiles, Cruise Missiles, Airdropped Bombs, Seaborne, and soon a nuclear powered Sub.

And the world has been dealing with further Proliferation from Pakistan, and the increased complexity calculus and risk ever since.

North Korea got their’s from Russia and Pakistan, and are now in turn actively proliferating ballistic missile tech to the MidEast, as well as some Nuke tech primarily between existing Nuclear Axis.

Saudi just got the Nuclear Umbrella from Pakistan, in a mutual StratDef pact.

China just “sold” a bunch of CM-302 anti-ship cruise missiles, and thousand of MANPADS to Iran.

Peaceful Hopium on Grand Disarmament and/or Program Shutdown, trade/energy/tech/sanction deals etc, doesn’t work with these type of diehard belligerant secretive underground facility liars. They are committed, unless convinced otherwise.

No one argues that a world where everyone has Nukes is anything but an insane elevation of risk to the entire Civ.

Time is running out.

Option for Iran is… you either partner with us right now in a worldwide non-Proliferation and back-in-the-box effort, or we end your regime for one that will. Our bombers are in the air and aren’t turning back without a “yes”.

Because unless people take a stand and insist on stopping proliferation, you’re going to have a lot more proliferation and existential risk before you have a lot less.

Jus Bellum, or so some say.

No one seems able to take a stand, let alone care, not even the people are demanding back-in-the-box. So stupid. Someday the calculus will break down… then boom, byebye world.

And ultimately, you will still have to deal with the incompatibility and sneaky-invasive conquest-nature of Islam someday. And so far, as History has shown without fail, that means permanent Separation of the Tribes, or War.

Deus Vult, or so some say.

Fidelis says:

I do not agree that we need decades to scale solar and batteries, nor that our only options for the two involve excessive rare materials. We can mass scale the cheap versions in the desert, including the voltage lines. For example, instead of copper, substitute aluminum. We use expensive processes and materials because we want density, can’t get good energy/weight ratios with cheap ass batteries, and we used to want the batteries for cars. Similarly, solar panels were inefficient for a long time, needed the best materials to justify. Not so true anymore, just mass produce the cheap ones and put them all over the desert.

For the logistics of this, figure out a way to do tech transfer with the dastardly yellows. Policy wonks pretend China is as adversarial as they are, but CATL is training factory technicians in Germany; clearly the hostility is more umagined than real. We do an industrial exchange and get their polysilicon et al tech, all will be good.

Brubaker says:

> decades to scale solar and batteries … mass produce the cheap ones and put them all over the desert

Cheap silicon version for deserts, ok fine.
But still, feeling that lithium and other rares are going to be increasingly pricey, because initial severe demand curve, then silicon and lithium wear out, requiring perpetual replacement, which is up against non-recyclability, depletion, refining advancement.
Given Lead, Sulfuric, and Plastic are highly recyclable… maybe explore the desert lead-acid cycle a bit more.

People are gambling on historical “better mousetrap” “better Haber Process” “smaller feature/node size” “Moores ”Law”” “Fusion”.
Bitcoin is gambling on storing/processing/transferring the blockchain forever.

But few are acknowledging that all these historical improvements have gone essentially asymptotically flat now.

Better to design for today, with future optionality.
Than gamble wholly on future miracles as is being done now.
Especially concerning non-renewable natural resources.
If you can’t map out Humanity’s next 100/250/500/1000 years based on what you have today… if you resort to the above hopium… you have a gambling problem, and a severe case of Known and Wanton Suicidal Depletion Syndrome.

You need to buy time for the Hopium to work its Random Magic, lots of time, potentially many millenia.

And the first 1-5km long core samples and seismic mappings from Mars are going to be rudely instructive on that.

GloboHomo Elite wants Power and Control over Humanity, to kill it all for themselves. Thus they clamor for universal biometric global ID, DigiFiat, AI SpyVeillance, everything enslaved and permissioned, etc.

That’s Lame, and Evil.
You need a better plan.

I’d rather humanity self-recognize its depletion rate, downsize itself, focus on Liberty and open Research advances, nice family, etc.

Continuing to Leftily, artificially, and Suicidally Empathetically feed, thereby disrupting the natural aboriginal disappearance of, 4 Billion useless units of already failed DNA forks… is probably not going to help you get off the rock in time. Nature has served those forks well, you can only do them suboptimally and destructively worse.

Levelling up 8+2 Billion to fully “modern” status, probably also a huge depletion race-condition. China is the most recent one to try this, and is now engaging in Empire for Resources as a result.

Anyone can “gamble” in Business, because business/market metrics/environment exist and are well known for centuries… it’s not really a gamble.

Gambling on Fusion, Quantum Compute, True AI, Mars, coming, let alone solving all molecular, genetic, atomic, large/complex system, materials, farming, recycling, etc… by 2050, by 2100, is kindof stupidly suicidal.
Try, but don’t gamble into a hole.

The Law, were it to be Leftism, is Suicidal.

Whereas Communals, being Voluntary Association, afforded under a higher simple Basic Law addressing physical/fraud crimes upon persons/property, defense… can lead to good advancements.

“Democracy” is now effecting more to worse than it ever did to good.

So more Monarchs, Republics in Good Will, free Communals, Patronage, a return to Woman-1.0, etc.

Make awaiting and creating the Random… pleasantly worthwhile again.

Jew propaganda is all over the place, as usual. Bibi himself said Israel needed to leverage Social Media that way.

Araghchi is an Iraqi family name, not Iranian, Sayyed is an Arab-Islamic invader name. Persia is not fond of this guy.

Nuclear Electricity Reactors use <5% enriched uranium as fuel.

IAEA et al: Iran now has ~400kg of 60% enriched.
The only purpose for this high enrichment % is for Nuclear Weapons in an active Nuclear Weapons Program… it is obviously crystal clear proof-present of both the ongoing development program, and of the decades long fully convicted intent behind it, further confirmed by the massive monetary spending required to do so, especially sneakily underground.

And people want to cower and let Iran's nutbag liars, and Islam's 1400 continuously ongoing years of invasionist enconquerment, get Nukes?

No.

Proliferation must end, worldwide, no more, now, by whatever means necessary. Set the enforcement precedent.

Explain well, ask, and a billion civilians will join a new de-nuke movement.

Jim says:

> IAEA et al: Iran now has ~400kg of 60% enriched.

Nuclear weapons need higher enrichment than that.

But true, standard nuclear reactors generally use only five percent to twenty percent. So sixty percent is kind of odd.

Naval reactors, icebreaker reactors, and nuclear submarine reactors use uranium more highly enriched than sixty percent. Breeder reactors, now you are talking sixty percent. Seventy percent is the bare minimum for nuclear weapons, and you really want better than seventy percent.

So they might be planning a breeder reactor, or they might be planning to continue enrichment to nuclear weapons grade, but having technical troubles worsened by corruption, social decay, and Trump’s application of high explosives.
