Everyone, including most on the right, wants to kiss up and brown nose leftwards, while condemning and denigrating rightwards, for the left has the power, delivers the gravy, and punishes its enemies.
Recall that video during the 9/11 ceremony. Reacting to the ceremonial folding of Old Glory, Mrs. Obama turns to her husband and says, “All this just for a flag.” She then shakes her head and rolls her eyes while the president nods in agreement.
That her words were “all this for just a flag” is based on lip reading. For short sentences, lip reading is notoriously unreliable, but Obama’s flacks have not proposed any alternative words that fit her lip movements, and even if she had not said a word, her expression and body language conveyed her meaning.
And, just as when Obama issued a crudely photoshopped birth certificate, we see the right piling on to rationalize
I’m not even sure I can read her expression — which might be one of appreciation, as if she were saying, “Wow, isn’t it wonderful, all this for our flag.”

Bwahahahaha.”, he does rub his hands together with glee at every successful blow he makes against the old economy of free men and free markets, of innovation and hard work and ethics, of sacrifice and of risk, and every step towards replacing it with the new economy of connections and government bailouts and handouts, of waste and influence peddling and corporate welfare.
