Trump against the spooks

Some of the spy agencies are loyal the red empire, some to the blue. I have reason to believe that Five Eyes and No Such Agency are loyal to the red empire, but it is mighty hard to tell, because, hey, they are secret.

However the people that have been overthrowing regimes are totally blue agency. You can tell that tree is poisonous from its poisoned fruit.

And this apparatus, the apparatus that destroys regimes, is now turned against Trump. The story that Trump had golden showers in Moscow was reissued to the press, given authority, and made into news, by the organization that briefs him that it was Putin that stole the Democrats emails and gave them to Wikileaks to publish.

At the end of his press conference Trump tells us:

I have many meetings with intelligence. And every time I meet, people are reading about it. Somebody’s leaking it out. So, there’s — maybe it’s my office. Maybe in my office because I have a lot of people, a lot of great people. Maybe it’s them. And what I did is I said I won’t tell anybody. I’m going to have a meeting and I won’t tell anybody about my meeting with intelligence.

And what happened is I had my meeting. Nobody knew, not even Rhona, my executive assistant for years, she didn’t know — I didn’t tell her. Nobody knew. The meeting was had, the meeting was over, they left. And immediately the word got out that I had a meeting.

So what happens is that the spooks meet Trump, tell him propaganda designed to legitimize the overthrow of his government, then report to the press propaganda designed to legitimize the overthrow of his government as the official findings of the spy agency, which Trump stubbornly and unreasonably refuses to accept.

My guess is something like the NASA challenger fiasco. Average member of these agencies smart therefore red, but higher-ups appointed by politicians therefore appointed for leftism. So civil war within the agencies, with their bosses tending to the left and the average deskworker tending to the right. Bosses organized pissgate leak to CNN, and then someone lower down got buzzfeed to publish it as a countermove, in order to ensure that the world knew how phony the docs were.

For some reason we’re supposed to be in favor of diversity and multiculturalism from all the brown-skinned violent zealots of the Mad Max parts of the world, but super hostile and suspicious of a friendly white christian majority nation like Russia.

I’ve heard that Snowden was CIA attacking NSA. On the other hand, Snowden is in Russia now, and CIA is in war with Russia, so not clear how this all adds up.

    • Alrenous says:

Still possible. When you throw somebody under the bus, they tend to get angry at you.

      • pdimov says:

The original plan probably was for Snowden to end up in China – why would he fly to Hong Kong of all places otherwise – but either the Chinese chickened out or the Russians outsmarted everyone.

With the intelligence community out to destroy him, Trump is going to have a tough time of it. I knew from the beginning that the establishment were out to get him, but I could never have predicted that they would be so blatant about it and , dare I say, open about it.

Leaking “secret” national security briefings is of course illegal. Seems to me that doing illegal things to harm a president is a poor career move for a Washington careerist.

Either they have a coup cooking, or, far more likely, they delusively think they have a coup cooking, the delusion caused by being self enclosed in a bubble.

I try to imagine the ferocious and wildly dishonest attacks that Don has been withstanding and repelling for at least a year now, and I know that I’m not even comprehending the half of it.

And THEN, add in the fact that he has to keep his frame and never get bitter or angry about them in front of people, and just holy shit man holy shit. I’d rather try to carry a garbage truck around with me.

From the CIA’s own interrogation manual from the ’60s:

“Persons of considerable moral or intellectual stature often find in pain inflicted by others a confirmation of the belief that they are in the hands of inferiors, and their resolve not to submit is strengthened.”

Donald now *knows* that these spooks are slime, and will never yield to their nonsense.

    • Alrenous says:

I still say you’re wrong about the Cathedral’s competence. The actual rulers are viciously competent.

However, they have to maintain the illusion that POTUS has power, and they aren’t themselves in position to carry out a coup. They have, consonant with your observations, hired morons to staff the positions that could maybe carry out a coup.

Result: it would be great if they succeeded at a coup against Trump. It would be a Pyrrhic victory of epic proportions.

Well, yes. If Mr Trump doesn’t take the intelligence community in hand then his presidency is over before it starts. All that thrashing around might be the agencies getting used to some-one who has more experience in the less ornamental business world and less in the bureaucratic illusion still called “civil governance”.

This really seems like the dying mainstream media’s last gasp, and America’s managed democracy discrediting itself in full view of the world. We can only hope to make it through the next eight days without the Cathedral doing something even more drastic and crazy, such as launching a preemptive nuclear strike on Russia.

    No Such Agency?

    • jim says:

      Real name “National Security Agency”

Hears everything, says nothing. Forget about Russian hackers, it has everyone’s emails.

    • Felix James says:

A reference to the NSA when the government didn’t admit it existed.

To Trump and all of us in the alt-right: Stay Angry. No forgiving , no complacency, no making deals.
After 2 years of Trump 1/3 of the Senate POSs and all the House POSs will be up for reelection, that will be a glorious chance to destroy the left, after all, that is what they wanted to do to us.
    STAY ANGRY

    • Jack Highlands says:

Our elites are traitors. But unfortunately for the long-term health of their necks, they have become very complacent traitors. Everything that has happened in politics, journalism and even warfare (eg Syria) over the last 18 months bears witness to their complacency.

In a world where the sick Podesta brothers would use a PASSWORD-level password for their passwords, it is no surprise that our leaders act as if none of us are keeping track, that no one will remember Kevin Crehan.

Trump plays a long game; so must we all. Revenge is a dish best served cold.
