Coup

If a tree falls in the forest, and media fail to report it, did it make a sound?

If Trump gets a landslide vote, and the media fail to report it, did he win?

Early voting is, predictably, a Trump landslide, and the media are failing to report it.

This is the color revolution script – which is usually based on electoral victory being declared by the media for the Cathedral preferred candidate, followed by the physical removal of the man who won the election.

Color revolution requires and is based on tight discipline and central command – which America’s enemies conspicuously lack. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are place holders whose replacement is not yet agreed.

It also requires the threat, and sometimes the actuality, of bombing by the US air force. Which orders are not guaranteed to be obeyed.

The riots will be theater, as the voting is theater. The real action is going on behind the scenes. Trump is lawyering up. I hope he is arming up.

If Trump lives through this election, he will be Caesar Augustus, whether he likes it or not. He probably will not like it. His faith is old type progressivism, as it was back in the days when it still sometimes sported a thin veneer of patriotism and Christianity.

If he lives through this election, his first order of business will be taking control of the public service, starting with the instruments of coercion, the FBI and DoJ. Sherk has laid out a game plan for the president to take control of the presidency. Most of document reads like a boring cuckservative wish list, but buried here and there deep within the document are blocks of C4. Buried deep inside a not very exciting document, and padded with pious blandness, a proposal for a Trump autocoup against the permanent government: section four of “Government that serves the people”.

Trump, while his enemies are distracted by election noise, is moving to implement section four, in his Executive Order on Creating Schedule F In The Excepted Service, a document as deliberately bland and boring as Sherk’s document. With strangely swift obedience, the Office of Personnel and Management issued Instructions on Implementing Schedule F, a marginally less boring document. But while the content of the document is not terribly exciting, the fact that it came out with lightning speed indicates that its superficially bland contents are several large packets of C4 hurled in the general direction of the federal bureaucracy.

Well, that is like Biden’s laptop. Will it have effect?

If “Instructions on Implementing Schedule F” take effect, the ensuring fire under the FBI’s chairs is going to ensure that Biden’s laptop will take effect.

Since it seems that some of my readers are still getting their reality from the mainstream media, a short recap on Biden’s laptop:

Joe Biden’s family used Hunter Biden and Jim Biden as go between to collect bribes from foreign leaders.

Unfortunately for them Hunter Biden is not really the man you want for matters requiring discretion and prudence. He is crackhead who uploaded pornographic images of himself and his niece onto Pornhub. He water damaged his laptop, took it to a repairshop in person, and then forgot about it (probably too high on crack) It eventually became the property of the repairman, who found no end of interesting stuff, including the details of the Biden family’s dealings with foreign governments and images of Hunter Biden having fun with crack and naked women, among them some of the images that wound up on Pornhub.

The deal with China is that while Vice President Joe Biden was negotiating a trade deal with China, a deal which turned out to be strangely bad for America and good for China, the Biden family, Joe Biden, Hunter Biden and Jim Biden, cut a deal with a Chinese agent who was at the time under surveillance, wherein they each got ten million. Then the Bidens cut Tony Bobulinsky out of the deal. Pissed by this illegal act, he ratted them out to the FBI, who of course ignored him.

He then went on television (Fox News Exclusive Conversation with Hunter’s Ex-associate) and confirmed many of the hottest Hunter Biden emails, plus he told us of his meetings with Vice President Joe Biden on the business, plus, he has a huge pile of business records, currently in the possession of Fox News.

Now Fox News is mighty cucked these days, so depending on which party comes out on top in the coup, those documents and Bobulinsky himself might disappear – much as the Trump landslide is being disappeared.

So, will they stage a false flag attack by fake Trump supporters on a polling place while antifa mass attacks polling places on Nov 3? Hard for Trump to win if republicans can’t vote in person.

          • Pooch says:

Roger Stone penned a really good piece in which he feared Antifa would do just that because liberals keep assuming that Trump supporters would “suppress” their vote indicating that is exactly what they have in store because of projection.

Problem I see with that is Antifa is no match for the police (and Trump supporters) outside of their blue urban crime havens. I could see them having success in certain targeted suburbs close to the big cities in battleground states though.

            • BC says:

Antaifa and BLM definitely don’t have enough people for it right now but if they make the death toll large enough people will stay home. Hard to do though as antifa and BLM are really bad at combat even against defenseless people.

              • Contaminated NEET says:

                >antifa and BLM are really bad at combat even against defenseless people.

Bullshit. BLM and especially Antifa are really good at escalating their use of force right up to the line that would force the authorities to stop it and punish them, and stopping just short of it. This leaves their enemies with three bad options:
                1) Let the Leftists mobs brutalize them with impunity.
                2) Respond with a level of force which will bring the authorities down on them.
                3) Fight them with the same kind of effeminate provocations and passive-aggressive tactics they use.

Number three sounds like the best response, but it has two huge problems: the Left is much, much more experienced and skilled at this kind of limited theatrical street violence, and the authorities are sympathetic to them, so what would be harmless mischief if a Leftist did it becomes a very serious crime when a Rightist attempts it.

Anyway, my point is that you’re mocking your enemy and looking down on them without understanding how it is that they keep beating us in the streets. Yeah, their tactics look gay as fuck, but they work, and victory is anything but gay.

      • Not Tom says:

You understand that this is an op-ed, right? It’s not from their regular journalists and it’s specifically presented as opinion.

This isn’t a new or unusual thing. NYT, WaPo, and all of the major networks and publications always print these opinion pieces a few days before the elections, provided they are sufficiently tame. And somehow, despite this happening every election, conservatives are totally shocked every time it happens.

Believe me, nothing has changed at CNN even a little bit.

        • Strannik says:

Yes, and yet these opinion pieces are designed, as with anything else the corporate media does, to shape opinion.

Allowing the mental possibility in the minds of their readers of President Trump of winning the election is not a little thing, in my opinion.

    • suones says:

I find it strange how Jon Karl calls Trump’s rapid KungFlu recovery and high-energy campaign a “marvel” and not what it actually is — a miracle.

We all saw a miracle in 2016. We are seeing another one unfolding right before our eyes.

Is American media somehow forced to not use Christian symbolism or words in the news? I remember there being some controversy when “Merry Christmas” got replaced by “Seasons Greetings” or something (another thing reversed by Trump).

      • Strannik says:

        Prayer works.

And miracles happen all the time. St. Constantine the Roman Emperor saw a vision and was granted victory over his Imperial rival by what he saw, against the odds, when he fought the battle of Milavian Bridge…

        • Oog en Hand says:

Then this miracle proves that God condones violence. It also proves that God supports the religion of Constantine against the religion of Jack T. Chick.

In order to increase the chance of miracles happening, preach the possibility of eternal damnation.

Hell is eternal, hell is eternal, hell is eternal !!!

          • Strannik says:

            What?

          • The Cominator says:

I don’t get the point of this post either, a literal translation of the bible is weak on supporting eternal damnation hell is eternal but your presence in the lake of fire probably isn’t.

The only thing that seems to point that way even a little is the Lazarus story. I don’t think the idea that hell is eternal wins too many points for Christianity… people instead figure the Christian God is a monster.

The Koran is explicit about eternal torture of the Demon Allah’s enemies but the Christian bible is not.

            • Strannik says:

Yes, the Christian Bible is quite explicit about eternal damnation. But those who go there are volunteers, they wouldn’t want to be with God and His people in the first place.

There are two kinds of people in this world; ones that say to God; ”Thy will be done”, and those to whom God says; ”Thy will be done”.

They get their wish, even as it eternally gnaws at them.

              • The Cominator says:

I don’t think it really is… not if you use literal translations.

                • Strannik says:

It’s precisely the literal translations that are very clear about the reality of Hell. Don’t like it? Don’t go there, you don’t have to if you don’t want to…

              • The Cominator says:

Also its contradicted by some parts very explicitly…

The original lie of the serpent was that YE SHALT NOT SURELY DIE and THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH.

The bible points to the ANNIHILATION of souls not reconciled with god not eternal sadistic torture.

                • Strannik says:

No, it doesn’t, you are mistaken. As I said, God doesn’t withdraw His gifts of life from His creatures, eternal life. But people have free will, and some take into eternity the only thing they want from God, eternal duration. They don’t want to be with Him or good people in eternity.

                • jim says:

The bible is cheerfully ambiguous on eternal (unpleasant) life for the fallen, and cheerfully ambiguous on the literal reality of demons and pagan gods.

                • The Cominator says:

Going off what the bible says…

The gift of eternal life is for those who come to the lord through his only begotten son Jesus Christ. It is not for all humanity. This is said by Jesus himself and the original lie of the serpent was that “Ye shalt not surely die”. The idea that the unreconciled endure forever whilst being tortured in hell would mean that the serpent was telling the truth, that eternal life was possible without Jesus (albeit not in a way anyone would want), and that the wages of sin were not death and that Jesus himself was a liar.

The sole point of the bible which points maybe towards damnation is the story of Lazarus and the Rich Man but its not clear he is going to be there forever its only clear that its too late to save him. In light of all the evidence I believe the weight is towards annihilationism but some people preferred the idea of Eternal Conscious Torment for marketing purposes.

                • The Cominator says:

I do not believe it is ambigious on the idea of eternal torment, I think I put a compelling argument that its unambigiously against it.

To believe in Eternal Conscious Torment is to believe the Serpent was telling the truth, and that Jesus Christ was lying.

                • neofugue says:

                  > The bible is cheerfully ambiguous on eternal (unpleasant) life for the fallen

                  > The original lie of the serpent

“And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:43-44).

“If anyone says or thinks that the punishment of demons and of impious men is only temporary, and will one day have an end, and that a restoration (ἀποκατάστασις) will take place of demons and of impious men, let him be anathema” (IX Anathema against Origen from the Second Council of Constantinople).

“Being free of all their lawless babblings and walking in the footsteps of our Fathers, we both speak of the consummation of the present world and believe that that life which is to come after the update present life will last forever, and we hold to unending punishment; the former will gladden unceasingly those who have performed excellent deeds, but the latter will bring pain without respite, and also indeed punishment, on those who became lovers of what was vile in this life and refused to repent before the end of their course and departure hence. For their ‘worm will not die’, says Christ the Judge, who is the Truth (Jn. 8:46), ‘and the fire will not be extinguished’ (Mk. 9:48)” (Saint Sophronius Synodical Letter from the Third Council of Constantinople).

Because of Adam’s sin, man became subject to death, decay and destruction. The serpent’s lie was that the sin of the apple does not lead to death. Paul in Romans says that the wages of sin is death, but that through repentance we are saved. Christ’s resurrection was his conquest of death, and through him all men are resurrected. Where they go, however, is dependent on their mode of willing in this life.

One distinction between Orthodoxy and Western Christianity is that when Christ underwent death, he descended into hell to preach to the dead, and as such those who do not hear of the gospel in this life will hear about it after death. However, as a former Progressive I have met no shortage of disgusting evil people in my life, and given what I know of them, eternal torment is quite fair.

                • jim says:

This debate is unprofitable, concerning matters unfalsifiable, and unverifiable in this life.

Doctrine on this question is unnecessary for the Church’s mission in this world and the next.

                • The Cominator says:

Allow me to speak against not having this debate because I think this debate does have relevant secular consequences.

The consensus view in Western Christendom has been at least since the High Middle Ages the view of Eternal Conscious Torment.

Its my belief that one thing that caused the brahminate/priesthood to abandon Christianity its the eternal conscious torment idea (even if maybe it was a positive in marketing the religion to slaves and barbarians in 2nd and 3rd century Roman Empire). Because it really is pretty terrible… the idea that God is some sadistic cosmic BTK who will torture you forever.

Eternal conscious torment might be a good thing to teach to very young women, betray the supreme alpha because its fashionable or that guy seems more chadlike than your husband and burn in hell forever and forever… but the idea mostly repulses people in the modern era. It should not be taught to men as part of the official religion or even women past a certain age. Also the biblical basis is weak compared to the idea that the lake of fire and gnashing of teeth just eventually consumes you to nothing.

Universal reconciliation also seems biblically weak and has the opposite problem… people don’t care morally because God the supreme alpha will eventually forgive them no matter what.

You’ve talked about God too big and God too small… I think one must also have a balance between afterlife justice too good and forgiving vs afterlife justice too harsh and eternal for people to act in a moral way.

And if they deem you not worthy, well then, “erase that file, we need the memory space.”

Perhaps Heaven is just a place where they mine and harvest humanity for worthy people.

The Second Council of Constantinople (Fifth Ecumenical Council) was held in 553, the Third Council of Constantinople (Sixth Ecumenical Council) was held in 680. The doctrine of eternal hell has been with Christianity since the resurrection, and the matter is decisively settled. To be fair, no one in this thread promoted universal reconciliation, but the church has anathematized the position as if there was no relevant difference between “eternal hell” and “temporary hell” to the extent is is not worthy of debate.

The West apostatized from Christianity because of the intellectual and philosophical descent of the West from the Great Schism to the Enlightenment. Just as there is a bridge between Puritanism and Progressivism, there is a bridge from Aquinas to Luther to Descartes to Hume to Locke. The idea of hell repulses people in the modern era because people in the modern era are morally deranged. Promote the ideas of this blog or any element of Old-Type Christianity to the average person, and they will show you their derangement. When Progressivism falls, people will no longer find the Old Testament or the Old-Type Christian doctrine of hell problematic.

Unless you already have close family in red territory, don’t assume they’ll welcome you with open arms once war is declared. It could suddenly become very hard to move between red and blue territory.

        • suones says:

No. Migrants from blue areas might as well be from Mexico. Numerous examples from history: Goths sheltering in Roman lands then agitating for Gothic culture (and eventually sacking Rome itself), to “refugees” fleeing California to Texas then voting for the exact same cancerous policies there.

If your plan is “migration,” you need to put down roots there before the “refugee” flood starts.

  10. Someone says:

Jim have you read this letter of Archbishop Vigano.

    https://onepeterfive.com/arcbishop-vigano-an-open-letter-warning-president-trump-as-the-election-approaches/

Trump tweeted his first letter, this one is even heavier.

    • Oscar C. says:

I have seen Archbishop Vigano quoted a lot recently.

Off-topic but I would be interested in knowing Jim’s take on freemasonry.

Is it dangerous as traditional Catholics say or just an old boys’ club at this point?

      • jim says:

Used to be powerful. Nowdays assimilated by Globohomo, who still do not trust it, and have therefore rendered it impotent and irrelevant.

The enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend, but FreeMasonry used to be an enemy of the Cathedral, and is still regarded by the Cathedral as an unreliable servant.

        • Strannik says:

I’ve heard rumors that President Trump is connected to Freemasonry, few American Presidents have been non-freemasons, although some are open about it most have not been open freemasons.

          • jim says:

Trump is connected to everything, but on all the evidence, his actual faith is same as that of president Nixon, and many members of the faction of the Republican party that Moldbug called “Optimates” – which is a heresy from progressivism as it was back in the days when it still wore a Christian and patriotic skin.

Not too worried. On all the evidence, Constantine’s actual faith was Sol Invictus, at least when he came to power, (all the pagan gods rolled into Apollo). But he rapidly found himself in a situation where he had to manage a state religion, and that faith had already failed as a state religion.

If Trump finds himself wearing Caesar Augustus’s shoes, he or Don Junior is likely to soon afterwards find himself wearing Constantine’s shoes.

Constantine quietly and unofficially installed Christianity as the official state religion, and only after that converted.

            • Strannik says:

St. Constantine the Emperor solidified his faith, saw that Jesus Christ was the real ”Sol Invictus”, with the vision he had the night before the battle of Milavian Bridge.

Miracles from God happen. And, they have an uncanny knack of happening to the right people.

So don’t be too shocked if they happen to Presidents Trump and Putin.

    • Pooch says:

Vigano should be Pope of the Holy American Empire.

      • Strannik says:

After Trump wins the legitimate Pope Benedict XVI if still alive is likely to be returned to open power within the Vatican, and men like Vignano and the Society of St. Pius X are likely to be rewarded openly as well.

        • The Cominator says:

The Vatican is an implacable enemy of the United States and is aligned with what BAP calls “the Global South”. Francis has done us a favor by being honest rather than artful about it. John Paul II was a much more insidious enemy.

I don’t see why Trump would want Francis to go anywhere, I hope he stays Pope forever. The longer he stays as Pope the more right wingers leave the Catholic Church.

          • Pooch says:

Leave the Catholic Church to go where? We may need to go with what’s available, not with what’s ideal, and a based Catholicism lead by Vigano seem to be available if Trump wins.

            • Pooch says:

              seems*

            • The Cominator says:

The existence of an international authority in Catholicism alone renders it unacceptable.

Also they vote bad compared to Protestant Christians, also the RCC has a terrible reputation outside itself and rightly so and Southern Evangelicals tend to think it’s a satanic church.

Catholicism can never be our official religion…

              • Strannik says:

The true Christian Church is international, TC, being the true ”Catholic Church” (that is, ”Universal”) of the Orthodox Faith. As we say; ”…We believe in One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church…” In the Creed.

That which we received of that Christian Faith, is to be held always and everywhere by all for their salvation.

                • The Cominator says:

                  We like the Orthodox here…

But calling it the “true Catholic” church just confuses people… so I just call it the Orthodox and the RCC “catholic”.

I fail to see how this is reconciled with Jim’s conception of national churches for every nation, which, based on the Westphalian peace, is supposed to avoid religious strife. To assert “trve Catholicism/Christianity” is to deny the Peace of Westphalia, which provided for equality between Catholic and Protestant beliefs, and is extended by Jim to cover all nations (cuius regio, eius religio).

I have observed, in practice, that what Strannik says is 100% true. All denominations of Christians immediately band together against any powerful adversary. Moreover, they also band together with Muslims (who otherwise would kill them), and try very hard to band together with Jews (with variable success). And they do this in foreign lands against the natives and their ancient gods.

My final words on this: An international Church is not a religion but an abomination, is usurpation of the King’s power for earthly ends, and is merely the first step in the religious holiness spiral that brought us Progressivism. A move for world domination through religion shall not remain uncontested.

          • Strannik says:

Believe me I’m no fan of the Papists at all since my conversion to Orthodoxy years ago, even before that when I went through a ”Old Catholic” phase for a few years.

But, what I described is how the Vatican will likely react, once Trump is safely re-elected and doesn’t have to face another election cycle, not necessarily what I hope the Vatican will do.

          • James says:

This is completely not true that the Catholic Church is the enemy of the United States. If anything, the leadership of the Catholic Church are compromised by succumbing to the pressure from the Americanists dedicated to the ideology of liberalism.

America, and Trump, is nationalist. The American empire is anti nationalist.

If that is the case, Trump will have a sane state religion ready and available.

    • The Cominator says:

      They must know hes losing.

    • Mahmet says:

They waited until most of the votes were cast, so this is no more than a little hedging of bets. I’m betting Biden wins over 300 electoral votes (including states won by fraud, which may be several).

      • Strannik says:

        Nonsense.

These polls you’re regurgitating in effect, in order to have something to say, are nothing but gaslighting by the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party, also known as the media. They’re designed to try to shape behavior, not reflect public opinions but to try to form them.

Biden’s voters have zero enthusiasm for him, and less for his running mate. All the enthusiasm and momentum are for President Trump. He’s going to win in a landslide, absolutely winning the electoral collage vote and very possibly the popular vote as well.

      • jim says:

        Nuts

On the ground, a landslide for Trump is under way. Far beyond any margin of fraud.

Fraud, nonetheless, will likely be attempted, but the Supreme Court, the Republican Party, well over half of American voters, and ninety nine out of a hundred people with guns, are not going to believe it.

The hanging chads election was a close election where the Democrats stretched the margin of fraud a bit too far. This is going to go way beyond that.

      • The Cominator says:

Fraud looks like it might be an issue in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, enemy agents have a lot of power to play with the count and the margin is likely to be thin. The enemy will have to flip both states to even have a chance as early voting is tracking that Trump wins Florida easily and probably Michigan easily.

If the enemy does not flip both states Biden loses right then and there. If he does flip both states he then need to not lose Wisconsin but realistically if Trump wins Michigan he will win Wisconsin. Fraud is also a lot harder in Wisconsin (its also hard due to recent court rulings in Minnesotta but Minnesotta will be much harder to flip than Wisconsin).

        • Pooch says:

If they can steal NC and PA, they can steal MI too. Extended deadline there as well I believe.

      • The Cominator says:

Also I live in Florida and I just don’t see Biden winning here, the only Democrats who will admit to it (I mean in any real numbers) are single white women from up North and maybe black women.

If there is anywhere where diversity+proximity seems to sort of work its Florida. Hispanics here are all voting Trump even the broads… the lower Hispanics look up to Cubans and the Cubans (who also hate communism) look up to the full whites.

With Cubans Trump is apparently up by 50 points. Even without the early voting I would not think Biden would have a chance here I can’t see him losing both the white and hispanic vote and winning the state on the black vote (when a lot of black guys here are voting Trump too).

        • Not Tom says:

He can win if they uncover an extra 78 million votes from Broward county that had previously been “misplaced”.

But tell me this: Do you not agree, at least now, that he clearly and consciously understands himself and his kids to be in a coup-or-die situation?

And roughly when do you think he finally understood this?

I for one suspect he smelled the revolutionary sulfur even before the escalator. Things were so absurd that someone had to cross the Rubicon, so why not him? He was Chad enough to see the upside, and Chad enough to dive in after it, despite the risks.

All those years he was the one sober guy at Studio 54, taking mental notes while all the Hunter Bidens bragged to him about their unaccountable power and degeneracy. He saw an opportunity to call a huge bluff and win big, grabbed its ankles, and went for it.

    • BC says:

But tell me this: Do you not agree, at least now, that he clearly and consciously understands himself and his kids to be in a coup-or-die situation?

Don Jr. has said as much.

    • Strannik says:

That’s exactly what happened, but he had help from the start. He always understood the risks, he and his family, and they went all in anyway, which is the best way to do it and succeed, by the way.

He wins this election, and they will have busts and portraits of him all over the place in 100 years, just like Lincoln.

      • The Cominator says:

I think it was clear at least after he became nominee that it was conquer or die for him and probably his entire family.

I do wish in this light he were more diligent about vetting personnel (and if Senate confirmation is a problem he should have a series of acting figureheads overseen by a permanent white house “Czar”) and had not fallen for the covib bullshit even nominally (its unfortunate that the only world leader on our side who wasn’t at least somewhat fooled was Bolsonarno) but otherwise he has done well.

        • Strannik says:

You use and test out the human capital you are given, and that’s what he has done with the model in business that he knows works best.

It’s a difficult job having to apply that understanding, but he’s done it well with what he had, much as Lincoln had to with his less than stellar Cabinet, Generals, and other government officials.

        • Not Tom says:

You still have never bothered to explain in what way you think Trump “fell for” anything on Covid.

          • The Cominator says:

Should have issued an executive order to the CDC to revoke the socialist distancing guidelines, kept Fauci off the air tried to forbid governors emergency to shutdown etc.

            • Not Tom says:

In what way do you think he could have seriously achieved any of those things?

Social distancing guidelines are somewhat of a nuisance but didn’t cause real problems. Fauci has his rights – Trump can’t choose whom he can or can’t talk to on his own time. And the governor’s decisions were always a state matter that every court would have immediately affirmed.

You’re just sore because he wasn’t a total d-bag about it like you were. It would have come at great cost to him with no benefit.

            • BC says:

              >Should have issued an executive order to the CDC to revoke the socialist distancing guidelines, kept Fauci off the air tried to forbid governors emergency to shutdown etc.

That sounds like political disaster. Fauci would have quit and the Dems would have paid him millions to attack Trump everyday over COVID in the Media.

Remember when Trump found a doctor to say COVID isn’t that bad? Media ripped her to shreads.

You idea works if Trump controls the media and the goverment, which he clearly doesn’t.

            • The Cominator says:

And when it didn’t turn out to be 1918 flu the sequel Trump would have come out smelling like a rose. If he revoked the CDC guidelines most of the Republican governors wouldn’t have closed anything and the dems would have owned 100% of the economic damage.

              • Not Tom says:

Oh, you mean like how he already came out smelling like a rose, after the fake and gay “second wave” and plummeting mortality rate? Yeah, they totally gave him credit for that.

I want to credit you with seeing some things that other people didn’t early on, but your attitude makes it hard to do that, and makes it hard to tell how much of it was a lucky guess. The biggest problem is that, aside from the leftists you dehumanize (which is not to say that they shouldn’t be dehumanized), you imagine that everyone else has the same beliefs you do and will react to news the same way you do. I’m not saying this to criticize either your ideas or your reactions, but you aren’t the everyman, nor am I, nor are any of us, we’re all out on the fringes.

This is similar to a lesson I had to learn early on in my profession: that the people who build things have a completely different mental model of the things they build from the people who will actually use them, and those who build must work extra hard (harder than, say, someone who does sales or marketing) to get into consumer’s heads. We are not building products, per se, but you could say that we are building narratives, and ordinary people will not perceive those narratives in precisely the same way we do.

AE sometimes puts out useful stuff, here’s one of them: https://www.unz.com/anepigone/mask-up-miscreant/

Summary: 50% of Republicans support mask mandates, or did a month ago. Yes, Democrats are way more obnoxious (93%), but whatever you wish were true about normie Republicans and the media, simply isn’t true. Trump would have been crucified if he had attempted your strategy – if he had attempted to override state governors (itself an unconstitutional act) who were perceived as trying to protect their own people. He did what was politically possibly to rescue the economy as soon as it was politically possible to do so.

We can start complaining about the lack of coup-complete activities after the coup is complete.

In that sense, all religions that are Gnon-aligned should be welcome here.

        • Gestahlt says:

For an ideology/cultural cluster that tries to base itself on previous cultural forms, I find the adoption of the neologism Gnon to be baffling. Dharna, providence, necessity in the greek sense all fit the meaning. I suspect it’s because those terms have fallen so far out of use that an entirely new one seems necessary.

          • jim says:

Reference to Gnon implies that atheists and agnostics should shut up about issues that might unnecessarily offend Christians, and Christians should shut up about issues that might unnecessarily offend atheists and agnostics who give proper respect to Christianity as the state religion, as the basis of European greatness, and as the preservation of the wisdom of the Bronze age before it went decadent, and Greco-Roman civilization before it went decadent.

Reference to Dharma would imply that we are whites larping as Hindus.

            • Your reply is a bit roundabout and wasn’t my intention to ask you to adopt Hindu religious concepts to describe NRx philosophy. But then, I’ve found NRx terminology quite laconic, sometimes cryptic, and Gnon was one such term.

I was stating that, in my understanding, what you call Gnon is similar to Dharma in Hinduism, and in that sense, we can all agree to ignore cultural and religious differences so long as we recognize the reality of natural law, by whatever name we call it.

Dunno if that will help you, but I read the bible cover to cover two years ago. It did not turn me Christian right away but it did clear up some of the things that to me seemed obviously insane about the Churchianity I knew. Turns out I just grew up with a holiness-spiralled version of the NT and a censored version of the OT and the originals made perfect sense at least as a guide to Gnon.

Anyone here feel free to correct me, but I also think the theory of “the god of the OT” and the “god of the NT” being separate in ‘temperament’ is bunk. They taught me this as a kid. Apparently having a son on earth made God soft/beta or something. I am not versed at all in church history, if this is a heresy, what is it called?

            • S.J., Esquire says:

***the theory of “the god of the OT” and the “god of the NT” being separate in ‘temperament’ is bunk***

You’re quite right; anyone who thinks this is a person who hasn’t read the Bible very thoroughly. I remember a long time ago, when I decided I owed it to myself to read through the whole thing, and was surprised to find the OT replete with passages about forgiveness, patience, and so forth, that sound stereotypically NT in tone.

The main reason NT God doesn’t seem as wrathful, as active in the world the way he is in the OT, is that the NT is primarily letters, not narratives.

            • Strannik says:

It is in fact a condemned heresy, called Marcionism, after it’s founder Marcion, who was in turn the follower of Simon Magus, the wizard and heretic mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles who invented the first Gnosticism.

              • jim says:

To be precise, the first Gnosticism that was an entryist attack on Christianity. Groups whose actual beliefs are distinctly similar to Gnosticism run entryist attacks on every religion, and have been doing so for a very long time.

The basic heresy is not that demonic forces are powerful in this world. Obviously evil is powerful in this world. The basic heresy is that they are the power, that God is far away, impotent, incompetent, and weak. Old and New Testament position is that demonic forces are on God’s leash and he yanks that leash often, albeit we frequently have reason to wish that he kept that leash tighter and yanked it more often.

Theoretically Gnostics are not demon worshipers, but since they hold that virtue is unrelated to right action in this world and does not require right action in this world, it is a distinction without a difference, and Gnostics in practice suffer from the same failure to cooperate with other Gnostics as demon worshipers do. Gnostics and demon worshipers fail at achieving cooperate/cooperate equilibrium even internally.

Not that Christians have had great success at achieving cooperate/cooperate equilibrium externally, but they have had better success than other groups, and demonstrated success at achieving cooperate/cooperate equilibrium internally.

                • Strannik says:

The core of the resemblance between Gnosticism and Liberalism in simple terms (not the terminology of Eric Voegelin and Thomas Molnar) is that life and reality are unfair, and that there should be a kind of ‘technology’ or technique to raise above this reality, so that at least in one’s interior self, one can be whatever one wants to be. That this world is a prison to be rebelled against, that suicide is good and procreation is evil.

                • @Strannik

Or in other words, the divide is between considering the world good like God on the 7th day did, being life-affirming, or not.

Do you consider Orthodoxy more world-affirming and life-affirming than the Western forms of Christianity? Because the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palamism thing seems actually less so to me.

                • neofugue says:

The Wikipedia article linked above is misleading, written by Roman Catholics trying to control the narrative.

The idea of the essence-energies distinction is to separate God’s actions from his essence. This relates to heresy; for example, God creating the world is not identical to the divine essence, as that would mean that the world is an eternal creation. It also resolves some absurdities, such as the idea that Christ walking on water is identical to the divine essence.

The issue is important because the essence-energies distinction is incompatible with Thomism.

In all of the translations of the works of St. Basil the Great (330-379), Roman Catholics insert the word “operations” when St. Basil uses the term “ἐνέργεια” or “energeia.”

“The operations [energies] are various, and the essence simple, but we say that we know our God from His operations [energies], but do not undertake to approach near to His essence. His operations [energies] come down to us, but His essence remains beyond our reach” (St. Basil Letter 234).

            • neofugue says:

The technical term for the viewpoint you mention is Marcionism, the view the Old Testament God and the New Testament God are distinct. However, today’s sentiment is more about the New Testament God transcending the Old Testament God, that the Progressive Jesus reforms the backwards Old Testament God akin to Progressives destroying society to immanetize the eschaton.

In many ways Progressivism is a new heresy distinct from Marcionism. The best historical precedent to the former is that of Origen, who positioned the modern practice of reading scripture in allegorical senses, whether moral, epistemological or ontological, as he believed that the scriptures could not be taken literally because of their property being beyond human understanding.

One of the first things the church of the future will do is anathematize Progressivism along its sisters Nestorianism, Monophysitism, Origenism, and so forth.

              • Strannik says:

The Spirit guides the Church to reject heretical nonsense, sometimes long before it is formally condemned. I figure many of the same condemnations suffice already in the anathemas against some of the other heretical assemblies you mention, or against Ecumenism.

              • European Mutt says:

Thank you all for the explanations! Very interesting.

Sounds like when I was a kid they were teaching Origenism in the churches here, which had the effect of making the text of the bible absolutely boring to read since it had nothing to do with what they said it was supposed to mean. It’s truly the most effective pipeline into atheism/progressivism there is, because actually make more sense.

Nowadays they just ignore scripture altogether.

                • neofugue says:

Just to be clear, most who read Progressivism into scripture in modern churches are neither sophisticated enough to know who Origen was nor what he represented. The point of mentioning Origen was to show that while Progressivism is a new Christian heresy, it is not without disturbingly similar precedent.

Pointing out how much Progressivism is akin to ancient heresies only works with men of good will. There is a slight difference between Progressivism and Marcionism, and Progressivism and Origenism, and most of the time entryists will point to the little differences to distance themselves from the old heretics.

I’m not Christian or religious. Consequently, I would probably not get very high in the governmental or Priestly sector of a reactionary society, but I cannot get very high in the governmental or Priestly sector of our society under the religion of Wokeism anyway, and what constitutes the Priestly sector under Wokeism is constantly expanding.

Unlike rule by the Woke, rule by Christians does not seem to encroach on my private life and private business nearly so much, and leads to better rule in all other factors, so it’s eminently preferable.

Kalam cosmological argument makes sense, it’s probably the strongest argument for God I am aware of, and arguments for Christianity can follow from there. But personally, I feel no religious impulse and remain largely skeptical. Having a convincing claim to divine backing for patriarchal authority in dealing with girls would be handy in the day-to-day though.

          • BC says:

But personally, I feel no religious impulse and remain largely skeptical. Having a convincing claim to divine backing for patriarchal authority in dealing with girls would be handy in the day-to-day though.

I’m the same way, I just have no feel for religion. Officially I’m an agnostic raised Christian, but generally I’m just indifferent to religion and Gods.

I’ve been doing a lot of studying of early civilizations of late and it’s starting to emerge that mass religion predates civilization. Göbekli Tepe was a temple built by hunter gathers thousands of years before civilization or farming. We’ve discovered that all the first cities of the first civilization of Sumer were built around a temple location. It appears that cities grew out of religious centers.

More interestingly these early cities were all ruled by priests. There was no rich farmer or trader, no kings, just a priestly class ruling them all. Religion is the basis for civilization and things kingship and other sorts of governments were later invented social techs that replace priestly rule. Priests are great persuaders who work together to get other people to do things they want done or things necessary for the success of a population.

It appears the primary thing holding back human’s from cooperating on a large scale wasn’t resources or knowledge as prevously assumed, rather it was Dunbar’s number:

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunbar%27s_number

Any human group that got larger than 150 fell apart. Mass religion was able to bridge that gap and allow very large groups of people to live and cooperate together because they were bound together by worshiping the same religion. From civilization and mass religion sprang tech, art, specialization, capitalism, etc.

I personally don’t feel like I need a religion but it’s very clear to me that a civilization does need a religion and I will follow that religion as long as it’s not an demon worshiping religion like Wokeness. I will never personally believe in a God because I haven’t seen a God. But if worshiping a God and following a religion results in positive outcomes for me, my family, and my civilization, I’m all for it.

The deal with China is that while Vice President Joe Biden was negotiating a trade deal with China, a deal which turned out to be strangely bad for America and good for China.

It disappointed me that Trump didn’t push this angle in the debate. Trump brought up the climate agreement not having any restrictions on China for decades while it mandated cuts in American manufacturing. Gets Joe to admit to planning to ban fracking but doesn’t link it with him taking payoffs from foreign energy companies.

He’s going to win the election anyway but it makes a clearer criminal case in the court of public opinion when he links the actions with harms to the American people – would give him more support for doing what he has to do and go after prominent (D)s who will shriek madly.

I can’t play the video so not sure what exactly they are saying, but this would be an awfully convenient use of the Biden scandal as a cover story for however CCP actually obtained the names of the informant network. CIA incompetence, CIA penetration and Hillary insecure email server were the leading theories until now.

Biden and his family are dumb enough to make OpSec blunders while having drinks with their China partners that help unravel the network but passing a list (as though the CIA just has one compiled as a single point of failure) at the command of Xi sounds impossible except in an even more fan-fictional situation where he was literally the Manchu Candidate all along.

  22. Sherk: I’ll start with admitting being mostly ignorant about US rules, but AFAIK the root problem, the one that created the Cathedral was the Pendleton Act, stating the Prez cannot hire and fire employees of the exec branch / presidency, this must be done via “professional” standards which implies “experts” which implies HarvardYale plus a bunch of retired exec branch employees in good standing. So the problem, sounds like to me the Prez as the nominal head of the executive branch somehow being able to break an Act, a legislative branch thing. Is this doable?

    • The Cominator says:

That was a huge part of it but the expansion of the fed’s role was also crucial… so I’d say the Cathedral originated like so much evil during the Wilson administration.

The Pendleton act mostly keeps the president from killing the cathedral… Trump’s EO goes a way towards weakening the Pendleton act.

      • Not Tom says:

I’ve stated in the past that the Pendleton act created the Cathedral, but that’s probably not technically accurate, it’s more like the act made the existence of the Cathedral possible.

Since the Cathedral is inherently expansionary and internationalist, it could never have truly flourished except under Wilson, or some other hypothetical administration very much like his.

Metaphorically, the Department of State had been tugging at the leash for decades, but it was Wilson who finally took the leash off.

Schedule F doesn’t kill Pendleton, but makes the environment less hospitable to Wilsonism, with the hope that the latter may eventually die. Arguably, Schedule F actually makes Pendleton what Pendleton was intended to be: competency-based hiring and evaluation. Trump doesn’t want to go back to the pure political appointee system, only fire the ones who are genuinely doing a terrible job.

I think that may be why we aren’t seeing the pitched battle that might have been expected. There are probably quite a lot of federal employees who believe – accurately or not – that “hey, I’m actually good at my job, this isn’t my problem”. If you’ve worked in government or indeed any big corporation, you’ll be familiar with this attitude among the lower level employees: “oh, another reorg/restructure, shuffling the management again, ho hum, doesn’t affect me”. In essence I think the EO was crafted to target high-ranking bureaucrats while assuring the lower-ranking ones that their jobs are relatively secure, so that when the managers piss and moan, their direct reports shrug their shoulders.

That could be a total misread, but I think it fits the facts as we know them.

        • jim says:

During the impeachment hearings, we saw the civil servants arguing that for the president to make international policy that contradicts the will of the State Department was unconstitutional and dictatorial and itself grounds for impeachment.

Stone is in the grip of the courts for allegedly bypassing the State Department.

The Pendleton act, insofar as it protects policy making bureaucrats, unambiguously violates the constitution. Schedule F unambiguously violates the Pendleton act.

It is interesting that no court case has yet been launched.

“Yes Minister” depicts the bureaucrats treating the minister like a King – which is to say, bowing before him, and then ignoring him has soon as they are out of the throne room.

Trump, a successful businessman, is not so easily manipulated, and the State Department, lacking internal cohesion, is incapable of negotiating with sovereigns, making war, or making peace, and thus has been drifting into stupid and pointless war.

The problem of controlling the bureaucracy has become existentially urgent. Under Obama we were drifting rudderless into war, like Serbia in World War I, into great power war with nukes that are unlikely to work.

          • Strannik says:

I suspect that more than a few in the government had come to a conclusion that our Constitutional system is literally unworkable by design (because designed out of Enlightenment ”Rationalism” ideals to be unworkable, by the founding fathers) and therefore needs to be abolished if society and government itself is to be saved. And so, they got together with a man already groomed for his role, and he became their leader. Saving the human race is a powerful motivator, stronger than the motivation to destroy it.

            • Not Tom says:

Progressives came to this conclusion in the early 20th century, they just had a very different definition of “saved”. And they even picked a leader for it: FDR.

              • Strannik says:

Right. Yesterday’s radicals (the ”founding fathers”, today’s ”conservatives”) were overtaken by more radical people later on, and so we must not look to either the utopians nor the conservatives, but to traditionalists, to those people who understand what has always been true and what always works.

              • Dave says:

We shall “save” democracy the way FDR “saved” capitalism — by abolishing it and affixing its name tag to something else.

Supposedly as far as England goes anyway the most realistic show on politics that there is. Although it portrays a time when the Cathedral (at least in England which has a far more insane government than the US and has since Blair) was relatively sane.

            • European Mutt says:

I think this excellent show was probably fairly applicable to every Cathedral country before 1990. At about that time the corrupt but largely nonideological Humphreys were starting to retire and they hired a lot of childless whores with degrees in leftism to replace them.

I think the origin of the “neoliberal reforms” conspiracy theory popular with Marxists is that the old Humphreys were afraid the leftists would cripple the economy so they created a byzantine system of regulations and trade deals before abdicating that would just barely ensure a future for market-based capitalism. Genius in a way, but the new hires did not like this at all. And the cultural sphere cannot be protected in this way, which is why they went full speed there.

England does seem extremely insane right now. Are there any clues to what Boris Johnson is going through daily? Certainly constant harassment by a variety of grievance groups and affirmative action hires seems likely. Johnson is not as smart and not as interpersonally perceptive as Trump obviously, but even he should have been able to avoid a leak like this under normal circumstances (first of all by not thinking out loud among people he cannot trust):

              https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/coronavirus-lockdown-leak-boris-johnson-mps-rishi-sunak-hancock-gove-b1488750.html

              • The Cominator says:

Johnson is obviously just weak and stupid to lockdown again but yes PM may still be accurate in showing how much power the permanent government in England has, only the permanent government in England is much more insane than in the days when it could be well represented by Sir Humphrey Appleby. Only Nigel Farange as a Prime Minister with full Mussolini powers will save that country now.

Humphrey on the show was very explicit that the oldschool British civil service (not the affirmative action woke insane British Civil service of the Blair and post Blair days) wanted to go into the EU in order to make sure the EU failed. I imagine this was true given England’s ancient foreign policy of trying to keep Europe divided.

  23. If the media claims “hundreds of thousands” are demonstrating against the recent strenghtening of anti-abortion law in Poland, does it happen? I very much doubt it. If was sort of a more generally acceptable idea, like the evergreen corruption/bribery accusations, maybe I would believe it. But this is typically a feminist-prog-Soros thing and I absolutely doubt they can mobilize x*100K in Poland. More like x*1K. Maybe x*10K but only for low values of x, 2-4. Yet, this is what I hear reported in the media over here, x*100K.

      • Women cannot coordinate/cooperate in such numbers. Not even in much smallers numbers. A, say, 300K angry thot demo, in my mind, needs 50K men to coordinate it and have them be there, in time, not flaking out to something else they felt more like doing etc.

The executive order is an attempt to take back some of the power prior president had. As such it is a step that might lead to Trump becoming Caesar Augustus.

The danger I see is that Trump merely aquires all the power and then hands it back to whover wins in 4 years. Like a Sulla who is happy to merely reintroduce the republican order and then ritires.

    • I would agree in other circumstances. Not now. If the media etc. somehow accepts Trump winning, there will be such a chimpout and I don’t even mean it in the racial sense as I think it would be mostly a white-skinned “Antifa” chimpout, something Sulla never really haf to face.

There are two things the weaponized autists could do that would be very effective if done ASAP.

One is to create a Hunterpedia that updates the current state of information, on a single web page, with links to the different streams of evidence. The only person to have written something like this down (sans porn and crack) is… Glenn Greenwald yesterday on substack. One person familiar with the multiple sides of the story could do this in a few hours.

The other is to create an archive of poll and especially non-poll data (such as D vs R registrations, D vs R early and mail-in vote participation) that solidify the implausibility of a sudden Biden victory. The DNC is already shifting narrative to “Biden in danger in swing states” to get out the vote but the material from Red Team poll analysts such as Barnes, RealAPolitics and @AirbossUT5 compiled in one place gives a lot more objective data beyond pictures of rallies that makes the conclusion inescapable.

Most astonishing, beyong HB being so incredibly stupid, is the lefts denial even when confronted with undeniable facts. If anyone denies it at this point there is no need to engage in further conversation; such as person is delusional and any denial is pure evil.

But it begs the question: If even undeniable facts gets denied, how many of the rumors for which there – atleast at present – exist no undeniable facts yet, are also true?

    @Jim:
“He is crackhead who uploaded pornographic images of himself and his niece onto Pornhub.”

OK you’ve got me. I’m cuck-busted. Either I’m smarter than you (uhhhhh), or just insufficiently imaginative or worldly. I just can’t believe this Biden laptop story, as presented, and I’m squealing in agony and confusion.

For one, this Bobolinski guy is one unimpressive dude. He can’t even speak English as well as a five-figure tractor salesman, let alone an eight-figure “Q clearance” “international investor”.

And he actually had to say, on Tucker, that he has a “department of energy Q clearance”, in blatant reference to Qanon? Bullshit!

I’ll buy the crack-smoking, sure, but he didn’t take that picture of himself, with a crack pipe against his mouth, while passed out in bed. That doesn’t even make sense. Or that one of him (or “him”) from behind, next to the naked black woman. Or the Obama girl’s black credit card with “cocaine” on it. Someone else took those. Somehow. Somewhere. Of somebody.

And self-posting amateur porn of himself and his niece? No man. I just can’t go along with this. I don’t care how dazed and confused that dumbass was. Who needs that?

Or rather, I’m barfing this story back out because I’m even more frightened by the idea that I am in fact ruled by people who actually are this dumb, and actually do this, or, I’m simply humiliated that this Bobolinski mediocrity can go around doing zillion-dollar deals while I don’t even know where to start.

And what computer repair guy would run around spraying out incriminating evidence of people who could get him into serious trouble? I’d rather rat out Jimmy the Bull to the cops and then tell him how I did it.

So there. You’ve got me. This Biden laptop thing just has to be a kompromat “op”, of some fucking kind, either by its original owners, or by someone who stole it from them, or stole it after it was stolen, etc. Or they’re all faked in the first place with look-alikes and stage props. My cellphone is old as hell and still takes clearer pictures than those. Come on man. It’s like those 320×200 Laurel and Hardy clips of Chinese guys hitting the sidewalk from Covid.

Maybe some Chinese overlords are punishing Biden for fucking up. Maybe DJT is trading it for Ghislane Maxwell’s life. I don’t even have a good guess. Do you?

You can start with this: Why would anyone have other people take pictures and videos, like these, of himself doing this shady shit, and then upload them to his own iPhoto or whatever? Come on man. Any historical examples of this kind of wanton, yet also patient and plotting, self-destruction? Some Kennedy examples maybe?

Let me help: The most believable take I’ve come across is that Hunter Biden himself is pulling the pin on the biggest Fuck-You-Dad Defection Stunt of the early 21st Century, with help from some other people. Maybe he’s in the Trump Tower basement right now, chain-smoking under the bed, while Erik Prince walks security in the hallway.

    Change My Mind.

Criminals do this sort of shit all day long. He’s fucking and partying with hookers who are also criminals. The elites do blatant illegal shit all the time, it’s simply never reported.

During FDR’s presidency FDR used to do stuff like call up the IRS and tell them to forgive a tax bill that one of his rich friends had in front of 6 or 7 reporters. They never reported it. Our elites have always done illegal acts out in the open because they own the media.

Hunter’s just criminally stupid to go along with the illegal crap.

      > And self-posting amateur porn of himself and his niece?

He is crackhead and a well connected democrat. Crackheads do stupid stuff like this all the time, and democrats do stupid stuff like this all the time.

Note Joe Biden’s non denial denial during the presidential debate.

And I am just not hearing Hunter Biden say “I did not write those emails, and that is not my niece” Not hearing the parents of the niece say it either. Not hearing the niece say it.

As Trump is fond of asking: Where is Hunter Biden?

      • BC says:

        > And I am just not hearing Hunter Biden say “I did not write those emails, and that is not my niece” Not hearing the parents of the niece say it either. Not hearing the niece say it.

The niece is traveling around with Joe Biden now. She was spotted in Florida with him.

      • Mister Grumpus says:

        @Jim:
“Note Joe Biden’s non denial denial during the presidential debate.

And I am just not hearing Hunter Biden say ‘I did not write those emails, and that is not my niece’. Not hearing the parents of the niece say it either. Not hearing the niece say it.”

        Our experiences match there.

What I just can’t swallow — and I can self-consciously see that I’m following the Troofer pattern right now by whipping out new arguments after some of my old ones have been dealt with, like by your “but no one’s denying anything, dude” — is that those pictures really did come from a laptop that belonged to Hunter, which he had left at the repair shop because he water damaged it.

Or that someone connected to “the fucking spy chief of China” would take his laptop to a computer repair guy and sign the work statement with his own name.

“But no one’s denying that Hunter handed over his laptop to the repair man.”

        Noted. (Is that correct, BTW?)

“And no one is saying that the while the laptop was Hunter’s, the racy pictures weren’t from it.”

Also noted. (Is that correct too, BTW?)

What I can still imagine is that this whole affair is so slimy and gross that the Bidens simply aren’t able to state that any small part of the story is true, but the rest of it isn’t. It would be better for them to ignore/dismiss it entirely. To legitimize even one small fraction of this would make it worse for them, practically speaking.

How about this: Can you at least agree that some of those pictures weren’t taken by Hunters own hand? Like the ones where he’s passed out, or facing away from the camera? Therefore those were taken by a hooker or someone who was either holding Hunter’s cellphone (huh?), or rather taken with her own cellphone and, what, sent it to him later somehow, like for laughs or maybe to put him on notice that she has that on him now?

What’s your take on that part?

“Dude if he’d post amateur porn of himself, or even record it such that someone else could post it later, then every instinct of privacy or self-protection that you’re projecting upon him is an obviously incorrect fallacy on your part.”

OK that works, actually. But no one made a thing out of this Pornhub account, all this time, until right now? What about that?

I think it was actually someone here who wrote once that during the fall of the USSR, everyone there didn’t conclude they were being lied to, but rather, they just thought they were going crazy. I sympathize with those people now.

That one of those Stages of Grief things.

Not Tom’s probably right. I have no knowledge that this sort of off-the-books protection is even a real thing, or where or how. It would be one hell of a powerful political tool, though, I’ll tell you that.

But yes, just a three day bender of being drunk on power would probably explain more to me that I can guess.

The last 5 years have proven my mental model of reality to be lacking. So I ask questions here. Real change takes time. Declining neuroplasticity and all that.

            • Not Tom says:

Fair enough. I like that you come to ask questions and indulge your curiosity. I just wish we could make you see how unworkable this particular idea is.

We all want to live and work with people who are both competent and trustworthy, but in Trump’s case that takes on a literal life or death importance. He obviously can’t trust any competent Democrat to “do the right thing”, so at best he could trust a totally egocentric and selfish person to respond to selfish incentives, which means he would need to be able to prove to them that (a) he can protect them from their own party, but also (b) that he can burn them at any time if they stop cooperating. As of today, Trump has only 1/4 of a carrot and 1/10th of a stick, which isn’t enough to draw in a selfish Democrat, assuming he can even find one who is really just faking their piety and hasn’t been genuinely corrupted by the ideology.

I could see some lower-level bureaucrats fitting the bill, and people who have already been spurned by the party, but the idea of it happening with a Pelosi or a Schiff is just laughably remote. Trump can’t really hurt them yet, he can’t incentivize them the way their own party can, and they may very well be true believers. They’re going down with their ship, and we should celebrate that fact.

As an expert negotiator, Trump himself would tell you that it’s all about leverage. An ex-Dem like Bobulinsky only needs a small positive incentive to cooperate. A lifetime inner party member like McCabe would require a huge and credible threat for non-cooperation and an extremely lavish reward for cooperation – which makes them probably not worth the effort.

              • Mister Grumpus says:

This isn’t a “so what you’re saying is”, but rather me looking for a shorter way of putting it:

So for the bigwigs like Schiff/Pelosi/McCable et al, their own side has a bigger carrot, and also a bigger stick, than Trump does.

Trump can neither reward them, nor hurt them, as much as their own people can.

                • Strannik says:

There is no honor among thieves. They’ll be turning on each other shortly, playing the blame game for Biden’s loss.

                • Not Tom says:

That’s about the size of it. Trump would really have to hold the power of life and death over them in other to extract testimony, and even then, I’m not sure. But if he already has that power then they clearly don’t believe he has it, or aren’t able to negotiate in good faith for other reasons. They are not agreement-capable, as we often say here.

And yes, they will turn on each other, but likely not in a way that benefits “us” or Trump. The left always defects from the left.

        • Omar is just a Trump card now. says:

          • The Cominator says:

As I said its not likely but maybe he knows his father is not likely to win…

            • Not Tom says:

Are you forgetting he’s a crackhead? Sound judgment and planning for the future aren’t really in his repertoire.

A legitimate defector looks like the Bobulinsky guy, he defects voluntarily and without needing any promises. He may have asked for immunity, but as far as I know, no one had to hold it in front of him as a carrot. That’s how it always is; if you’re a real refugee, you escape first and ask for sanctuary later. If a society holds their arms open for refugees, they get rapefugees.

    • simplyconnected says:

Or the Obama girl’s black credit card with “cocaine” on it.

Yeah, that is what I did, worked, except not porn pictures, not pornhub, and illegality and cruelty was capable of being darkly hinted at, not actually shown. Also, a minion who is potentially doing something cruel at my orders and under my supervision is cool.

Hunter was sort of doing the correct thing to pull women over social media, but on crack.

You only need to hint darkly, and her erotic imagination will take it from there.

Also, you want everyone paying attention to you, and you paying attention to the action.

        • Karl says:

No illegality? I’m surprised. Females find rule breaking so attractive that the risk of a fine for midemeanor or even a minor criminal offence is well worth it. Especially as obeying all laws, rules and regulations is extremely hard – at least in Germany.

Maybe you underestimate how many laws, rules and regulations exist.

If the rule breaking is so minor that most females won’t even notice that you did something illegal, the rule breaking won’t make you more attractive, but obeying that rule would then be noted and be an immediate turn off.

    • Space Ghost says:

Have you ever known a crackhead? I’m not talking about seeing a character on TV, or being accosted by a random dude on the street. I mean have you ever personally known someone with a crack addiction? They don’t behave like humans, so any prior assumptions about what a minimally-reasonable human would do are not applicable.

    • Pooch says:

I don’t find it surprising at all. Hunter is your typical dumb godless rich degenerate elite who’s entire existence revolves around enjoying the decadent worldly pleasures of a society in decline (partying, drugs, non-reproductive sex with hookers, trips, etc). Of course he would want to document his sexcapades for social proof and to remind himself of his value. He was the Fredo Capone of the Biden crime family. Unsurprisingly, he probably got high and forgot about the laptop.

The owner of the computer repair store is clearly a Trump supporter (all small business owners are Trump supporters). He first turned it over to the FBI (and smartly made a copy for himself). When he realized the FBI was just going to sit on it he reached out to someone who would do something about it (Guililani).

    • yewotm8 says:

The images I’ve seen on /pol/ make it seem mighty like the girl giving him a footjob was his niece. The half of a face that’s visible matches hers, as do the birthmarks on her ankle. The texts also suggest that he was mad that he wasn’t allowed to see a certain young family member (the name is always blurred). The text messages from Natalie herself suggest a young girl infatuated with him.

I wouldn’t have said it was confirmed from that alone. Perhaps Jim has access to more than I do, since I’m just an unconnected, unimportant Canadian. Or perhaps he’s just a hell of a lot more confident in his own interpretation of reality.

With regards to filming, I’ve not met a woman who objected to me pulling out my phone and filming her sucking my dick. When women are in that mode, they will do anything they can to please you, and will feel very good that you have decided to create a video to help remember them later. They will be both flattered and eager to please, and if anything will start making a show for the camera rather than hide from it. You might think this is dumb as you can share it to tarnish their reputation, but they probably get off on the idea that you have the power of blackmail over them.

    • Ron says:

According to AC, this is how it works: you pay to play. You give compromising info that shows you are willing to be a good doggie and “they”, whoever “they” are, give you a biscuit.

How do you give the conpromising info, who do you give it to? Dunno. Maybe you just put it on a laptop and hand it in to a random computer tech in the hope that Scumbag Inc. will take notice of it. Maybe you assume that every computer tech in a rich area of politically connected people already has at least one shitbag “working” for Scumbag Inc. because if any of us were running intelligence and if we could manage to put a guy in a computer lab next to rich people, then that’s exactly what we’d do.

      Dunno. Dont care that much.

      • Not Tom says:

If this were true, why would that info get sent to Giuliani, of all people, a mere two weeks before the election? Is the implication that he got on the IC’s bad side?

        • The Cominator says:

The IC is not a complete monolith. There are rogue dissident factions of the IC that back Trump (Q is still fake and gay though).

          • Not Tom says:

Yes – and AC cracked and went full schizo years ago and hasn’t had anything useful to say since then.

Of course the IC isn’t a monolith, but the idea that rogue agents were somehow tied into a computer repair shop technician handing the material over to Giuliani after the FBI had already received it months ago and sat on it is just nuts. Hello, Occam’s razor?

This is just a derivation of the Cathedral propaganda, that Hunter never actually brought the laptop in, that some Russian FBI agent actually brought it in. Except he’s got the bill with Hunter’s signature, it’s where Hunter spends most of his time, he recognized Hunter, neither Hunter nor any other Biden have denied that it is his, and Hunter’s lawyer made the boneheaded mistake of calling to ask for the laptop back. It’s just beyond ridiculous to think it was planted. The reality is, there are stupid crackheads on the left who do stupid crackhead things.

            • The Cominator says:

I’m not speculating on how Giuliani acquired the labtop at all other than to say maybe a friendly person in the FBI or justice tipped Giuliani (who was a poster boy US attorney back in the day, the man who broke the mob) or someone involved with Trump that they might want to contact this computer repair shop.

Its not certain but its certainly possible.

              • Not Tom says:

Lots of things are possible, but why should we consider that possibility when there is nothing particularly suspicious, unbelievable or inconsistent about the explanations provided by everyone involved?
