You need heroes to win wars, but you need logistics a lot more than heroes. This goes double for civil wars, where both sides are apt to face severe logistic disruption.
Civil wars are won by the side that can best use the existing bureaucratic and civilizational infrastructure to recruit, field, fund, feed, and arm troops. There is too much chaos and not enough time to build new structures to do this.
That is how the reds beat the whites in the Russian civil war. In the Russian civil war urban centers were initially red fortresses in a sea of white. The whites could have cut off food, energy, and resources to the red cities, but failed to do so, partly because they were reluctant to go scorched earth on their own turf, while the reds had no similar hesitation. During the civil war, if you had something the whites wanted, you were sitting pretty. If you had something the reds wanted, they would kill you, kill your family, take everything, and burn anything they did not take if there was any chance the whites might get it.
To win the civil war, the whites really should have made sure that everyone in the cities died of cold and starvation.
In the Yugoslavian civil war, both sides frequently used scorched earth and exterminationist logistics, but for the most part the war did not go on long enough to really level the country.
A major factor in the South losing the American Civil War I was that the North swiftly went to loot and burn logistics, while South was reluctant to walk that road. Or lacked the military capability to walk that road. During the South’s Pennsylvania incursion, they failed to apply kill, loot, and burn logistics. Things would have gone better had they made a more determined effort to live off the land and eradicate opposition.
War is hell. In a civil war, the side most willing to kill everyone and destroy everything tends to win. It obviously would have been righteous for the Russian whites to apply measures similar to those of Saint Justinian the Emperor, and failure to do so was a catastrophic failure with terrible consequences.

A bunch of rednecks in the hills and terrorists in the shadows can give you cover to organize your own logistics and disrupt the enemy’s logistics, but if you don’t organize your own logistics and disrupt the enemy’s, you lose.
Random unorganized rebels can hold land very effectively for a long time, they can thus deny resources and capability to the enemy. They cannot hold land forever, and they cannot do anything to strike at the enemy’s capability to strike at them. And if push comes to shove, their enemies can and will just destroy everyone and everything in the lands they are unable to hold, though this will cost them time and absorb explosives, ammo, and military capability.
If the revolutionary force is a proxy for a foreign power that has a border, it can keep going, but America has great natural borders. The Mexican and Canadian borders might be problems, allowing an EU proxy force, but we could just get rid of everyone there. Trump wants the empire of the ocean lands — control of everything inside the natural borders, manifest destiny. In a civil war situation this is likely to become more urgent and require more drastic measures. Russia will probably have to eliminate everyone in the Ukraine, Moldova, Poland and Lithuania, and has already eliminated most Ukrainians, and we might have to eliminate everyone in Mexico and Canada if the EU, the Global American Empire in Exile, use them as proxies. But, having better natural borders than Russia, we can afford to be less genocidal than Russia.
Recall that Saint Justinian the Emperor was declared a saint despite fighting a war that wound up genocidal, and rightly so. War is hell, and that hell saved civilization for centuries, rather than destroying it. His accomplishments came at enormous cost to an enormous number of people, but they were great and real accomplishments.
When the civil war starts, the left is going to theoretically control the police and national guard in California and New York State, lots of other places also, and they will control the enormous logistic and resource capabilities of those states, and, being port states, we will find it difficult to starve them, and difficult to prevent them from receiving military assistance from the EU, the Global American Empire in Exile. We will control most of the food production, so if we do that, we can starve them out, though this might also require eradicating Canada and Mexico.
Russia is now most of the way to eradicating the Ukraine but it has taken four years so far and they are far from finished. The EU intends to force them to also eradicate Poland, Moldova, and Lithuania, but I hope that after the Ukrainians are no more, the Poles will get cold feet about this project. Maybe this will inspire the Canadians and Mexicans to be rather less keen on helping the EU fight a proxy war. I sense that Filipinos have lost a whole lot of enthusiasm about the China project as they watch how the Ukrainians have been used, and used up.
We will have to be willing and able to bomb their ports and airports, and to mine the waters near their ports, starting with New York and Los Angeles — though we might be able to grab LA at the beginning of Civil War II, which would be lot easier and less grievous than starving everyone to death.

Given the last sixty years of grossly criminal judicial misconduct, if we allow it to be seen that we let any judge anywhere live, even those that are arguably on our side, it will be very bad for us and greatly to our military disadvantage. We will need to be seen to be willing to do a complete clean sweep, even if in fact we are not willing, and have some judges secretly stashed away incommunicado. Because of past gross judicial misconduct, reluctance to do a clean sweep grants legitimacy and credibility to our enemies, which we could not afford in a civil war. There are no end of things you cannot afford in a civil war. War is hell. If we want to keep our few buddies in the Judiciary alive, we will have to make sure that no one knows whether they are alive or dead.
Christians should be merciful, but in a civil war you cannot afford to be seen to be merciful. You have to dial coercion up to eleven. America won’t have a civil war in the sense you’re describing because there’s no capacity to organize beyond organizations that already exist. You have the government, win or lose, and that’s all. If there’s something like a civil war, it will be similar to the Maduro operation, a kind of decapitation strike. Afterwards, if the winners so choose, they can massacre the opposition.
This kind of civil war would be mostly a display of control over the government. I’ll provide two scenarios.
1) Trump orders men in uniform to round up and arrest prominent members of the Democratic party for aiding and abetting a foreign invasion. The men in uniform obey Trump and arrest the Democratic party. The generals, heads of three agencies, police chiefts, etc. take a good look, think about protesting, and then decide, nope, they’re more likely to be arrested than to stop Trump. Individual trooned out Leftist fanatics step up terrorism but this is manageable with a little resolve.
2) Leftists get formal control of congress or the presidency or some other such legitimizing body. They drag former president Tump through kangaroo court, then his appointees, then his political “collaborators,” his family, his prominent supporters and so on. In neither scenario can I imagine a plausible point where the government fractures into two bodies willing and capable of action independent of each other. In the first scenario, the generals and other authority figures might go against Trump but that just means Trump fails, not that open warfare breaks out.

No, it is impossible for that much evolution to happen that quickly.

It only takes a dozen or so mutations, and, in a sexually reproducing organism, they can all go to fixation in parallel, all at the same time. You start with a dozen or so mutations producing a dozen or so species of ape men, each species eventually expands, meets other species of ape man, abducts each others females, sexual recombination ensues, and you wind up with one species that has the whole dozen or so mutations.
We know how corn evolved under artificial selection. Took about six thousand years. Presumably men evolved under natural selection in a somewhat similar way.
The explanation has been given, repeatedly. Over and over and over and over again. Just read it. You can argue against what we said, but you have to know that we said it.

This just isn’t true. Teosinte to corn requires more than 4 point mutations, and one sapien to another requires far more than 12, let alone from ape to sapien. This is an extraordinary pair of claims, and I cannot find any evidence anywhere that says or directly implies what you say here. Corn and teosinte differ by many thousands of pairs, and those two plants are more similar to each other than a European and an East Asian.
Do you have something I can go and independently verify with respect to these claims? I’ve asked google and the LLMs, no one can find evidence for what you’re claiming.
Does need four point mutations, in the sense that hybridisation experiments between corn and teosinte show that four genes make the difference.
And in the sense that moderns continue to deliberately cross corn with local teosinte and then breed back to corn, in order to adapt corn to local conditions. If it needed more than four point mutations, breeding back would be proportionately harder.

The basis of my claim is that there are zero teosinte delta 4 SNP corn species anywhere. They always cross breed, find some SNP specifically associated with one trait, without a full ablation, and declare that SNP to be doing everything.

I’m saying the evidence is insufficient to say that these tiny handfuls of point mutations are the real difference between teosinte and corn, and I say this because corn has thousands to millions of base pair differences that optimize around the SNPs that lead to big kernels. No one has ever CRISPR’d in 4 to 5 SNP swaps and gotten corn.
On this basis I’m saying that the difference between sapiens and apes are more than 12 SNPs plus noise, and in fact we moderns are far more than 12 point mutations plus noise different from our anscestors that first figured out agriculture and animal husbandry. This is an incredible claim to make and needs much more substantiation to even argue against, because I can merely point to genome analysis of old bones and say “more than 12 base pair differences, QED” as it stands.
(As a side note, I just asked the LLMs, roughly “how many base pairs between corn and teosinte genomes” and got the answer of thousands to thousands of thousands. When you follow up asking specifics about 4-5 SNPs, it says its 4-5 important loci. Point mutations are very numerous in any species. If one parent has them, the next generation has about half that number. Breed a hybrid corn where each parent has about half the interesting point mutations then one in 16 plants of the next generation will be pure, if there were only 4 interesting point mutations. If some the point mutations are dominant, even more plants will look pure.
If there were 10 point mutations, then hybrid corn will give about 1 plant in a thousand that is pure. If much more point mutations were necessary, it would take more than one generation to breed back and some selection will be necessary. So what? The farmer can tell in a back breeding experiment which plants are most close to the desired pure species and use only those. If back breeding takes 2 or 3 generations I’d still call this “easy”.
