Both sides have been preparing for civil war II, the left since Obama was elected the second time around in 2012, the right since Trump was elected the second time around in 2024 — Pete Hegseth is the point man for Civil War II prep, and Vance got him in.
You need heroes to win wars, but you need logistics a lot more than heroes. This goes double for civil wars, where both sides are apt to face severe logistic disruption.
Civil wars are won by the side that can best use the existing bureaucratic and civilizational infrastructure to recruit, field, fund, feed, and arm troops. There is too much chaos and not enough time to build new structures to do this.
That is how the reds beat the whites in the Russian civil war. In the Russian civil war urban centers were initially red fortresses in a sea of white. The whites could have cut off food, energy, and resources to the red cities, but failed to do so, partly because they were reluctant to go scorched earth on their own turf, while the reds had no similar hesitation. During the civil war, if you had something the whites wanted, you were sitting pretty. If you had something the reds wanted, they would kill you, kill your family, take everything, and burn anything they did not take if there was any chance the whites might get it.
To win the civil war, the whites really should have made sure that everyone in the cities died of cold and starvation.
In the Yugoslavian civil war, both sides frequently used scorched earth and exterminationist logistics, but for the most part the war did not go on long enough to really level the country.
A major factor in the South losing the American Civil War I was that the North swiftly went to loot and burn logistics, while South was reluctant to walk that road. Or lacked the military capability to walk that road. During the South’s Pennsylvania incursion, they failed to apply kill, loot, and burn logistics. Things would have gone better had they made a more determined effort to live off the land and eradicate opposition.
War is hell. In a civil war, the side most willing to kill everyone and destroy everything tends to win. It obviously would have been righteous for the Russian whites to apply measures similar to those of Saint Justinian the Emperor, and failure to do so what a catastrophic failure with terrible consequences.
Obama’s plan was to destroy the regular army’s capacity to fight, and fill army command with wild eyed radical leftists dedicated to the murder of every legacy American and the destruction of everything American, while at the same time creating quasi military police organizations, federal groups like BATF, the CIA and FBI, and state groups like NYPD, where resistance to left politics is less.
CIA, FBI and NSA are, to the best of my knowledge, raving lunatic homicidal leftists who need to be locked up in a mental institution for their own safety and the safety of others, but their capability to function militarily has been going from bad to worse. Conversely, the more military capability a group has, the worse filling it with radical leftists has been going, as for example the NYPD, and, of course, the army itself.
When the left succeeds in rendering the institutions of state violence loyal the left, it renders them militarily ineffectual. Even if they had the army, we could probably win with some state National Guards, but it would be a terribly costly victory.
A bunch of rednecks in the hills and terrorists in the shadows can give you cover to organize your own logistics and disrupt the enemy’s logistics, but if you don’t organize your own logistics and disrupt the enemy’s, you lose.
Random unorganized rebels can hold land very effectively for a long time, they can thus deny resources and capability to the enemy. They cannot hold land forever, and they cannot do anything to strike at the enemy’s capability to strike at them. And if push comes to shove, their enemies can and will just destroy everyone and everything in the lands they are unable to hold, though this will cost them and absorb explosives, ammo, and military capability.
If the revolutionary force is a proxy for a foreign power that has a border, it can keep going, but America has great natural borders. The Mexican and Canadian borders might be problems, allowing an EU proxy force, but we could just get rid of everyone there. Trump wants the empire of the ocean lands — control of everything inside the natural borders, manifest destiny. In a civil war situation this is likely to become more urgent and require more drastic measures. Russia will probably have to eliminate everyone in the Ukraine, Moldova, Poland and Lithuania, and has already eliminated most Ukrainians, and we might have to eliminate everyone in Mexico and Canada if the EU, the Global American Empire in Exile, use them as proxies. But, having better natural borders than Russia, we can afford to be less genocidal than Russia.
Recall that Saint Justinian the Emperor was declared a saint despite fighting a war that wound up genocidal, and rightly so. War is hell, and that hell saved civilization for centuries, rather than destroying it. His accomplishments came at enormous cost to an enormous number of people, but they were great and real accomplishments.
When the civil war starts, the left is going to theoretically control the police and national guard in California and New York State, lots of other places also, and they will control the enormous logistic and resource capabilities of those states, and, being port states, we will find it difficult to starve them, and difficult to prevent them from receiving military assistance from the EU, the Global American Empire in Exile. We will control most of the food production, so if we do that, we can starve them out, though this might also require eradicating Canada and Mexico.
Russia is now most of the way to eradicating the Ukraine but it has taken four years so far and they are far from finished. The EU intends to force them to also eradicate Poland, Moldova, and Lithuania, but I hope that after the Ukrainians are no more, the Poles will get cold feet about this project. Maybe this will inspire the Canadians and Mexicans to be rather less keen on helping the EU fight a proxy war. I sense that Filipinos have lost a whole lot of enthusiasm about the China project as they watch how the Ukrainians have been used, and used up.
We will have to be willing and able to bomb their ports and airports, and to mine the waters near their ports, starting with New York and Los Angeles — though we might be able to grab LA at the beginning of Civil War II, which would be lot easier and less grievous than starving everyone to death.
War is hell. There are no clean wars. If you think you can fight a clean war, you lose.
Leftists will rely on the Judicial system to generate legitimacy, since polling and election outcomes have long ceased to be believable or believed. So we are going to have to do something radical about the judges. Arrest them where we can, kill them where we cannot. Judicial credibility is also in the toilet, so radical measures will not worry anyone who is not already our intransigent enemy. Letting any judge live anywhere in the entire United States will grant credibility to our enemies, by maintaining the appearance we take judicial rulings seriously. Obviously some judges are our friends even though most judges are our enemies, but the only way it will be safe to let our friends in the judiciary live will be to hold them incommunicado for the duration. War is hell.
Given the last sixty years of grossly criminal judicial misconduct, if we allow it to be seen that we let any judge anywhere live, even those that are arguably on our side, it will be very bad for us and greatly to our military disadvantage. We will need to be seen to be willing to do a complete clean sweep, even if in fact we are not willing, and have some judges secretly stashed away incommunicado. Because of past gross judicial misconduct, reluctance to do a clean sweep grants legitimacy and credibility to our enemies, which we could not afford in a civil war. There are no end of things you cannot afford in a civil war. War is hell. If we want to keep our few buddies in the Judiciary alive, we will have to make sure that no one knows whether they are alive or dead.
Christians should be merciful, but in a civil war you cannot afford to be seen to be merciful. You have to dial coercion up to eleven. Come the civil war, we should punish the many criminal acts we have let slide in living memory. Everyone responsible for ventilator and jab deaths in the worship of the awesome might of the awesome and mighty Covid demon needs to die. Similarly, sexual transition of children, Child Protective Services, gays in the Boy Scouts, and all that. It is a lot easier to brutally terrorize your enemies than to get them to love you. Get them by the balls, their hearts and minds will follow.
Everyone responsible for weaponizing a the Covid Virus by giving gain of function to attack human lung tissue. Every regulator who was fine with giving a flue virus gain of function to attack human lung tissue, but will not allow gain of function to attack malarial mosquitoes.
“Oh no, if you create a deadly mosquito disease it might kill too many mosquitoes, and then what will the little birdies eat. Think of the environment, think of the children.” If we hung everyone who has ever said “think of the children” we would not get too many false positives.
Right now, and even more in the future, the key factor in warfare is going to be autonomous killbot drone swarms. At present these are being developed by private ill funded organizations. Russia wound up throwing official government money at private developers only after they were already delivering drones from outside the official logistics and official funding. While the big AI money is all in the hands of leftists, who are pissing everything away as leftists always do, the real AI tech is not.
For the left to pacify a rural area, they have to occupy it militarily, or if they cannot afford that, and they probably cannot, kill everyone and take everything.
For us to pacify an urban area, we just have to cut off food and power, and offer the residents evacuation — evacuation to camps that we control. We can say that the city is suffering from disorder, and we are blocking goods from using the roads for safety reasons, checking everyone going in or out for safety reasons, and the loss of power, communications, and gas pipelines is mysterious and inexplicable, probably caused by unknown terrorists, like the similarly mysterious and inexplicable failure of the oil and gas pipelines between Russia and Europe.
Musk has moved all his critical assets to Republican areas, because of Democratic party hostility, which is going to bite them in the civil war — we can make him turn off all left wing capacity to communicate. Just as they pissed off Joe Rogan just in time to burn them in the election, they are busily pissing off everyone they are going to need in a civil war.
Of course the left will swiftly wake up to what we are up to, and forbid evacuation, and we are just going to have to kill everyone by starvation, but if we are genuinely providing food and evacuation to anyone able to escape, then the left, not us, are guilty of the ensuing mass murder. We can force the left to murder the welfare class and rest of their natural constituencies, while keeping our own hands clean, which will make life a whole lot easier after the civil war. Nearly all the habitual criminals live in Democrat areas, because Democrats make crime legal and everything else illegal. We can render the roads unusable and cut communications even if the enemy locally has superior strength, though this will require dirtier tactics.
California has four roads that matter. Over most of their distance they go through rural gun owning areas that vote solidly Maga, and similarly, the power and gas lines. We can make very sure those roads are unsafe. “Sorry, conflict zone. We cannot allow unauthorized vehicles through, because they might get blown up at worst, or shaken down to fund the conflict at best. And we have no idea who is mining the waters outside the ports of Los Angeles and San Francisco.”
But as long as we are promising and delivering food and evacuation, we can get away with some very dirty tactics. We can get rid of all those useless and evil people while keeping our own hands clean by creating a situation where evil people have to take care of each other. In a civil war, it is likely that the entire welfare class will be killed off, and the Democrats will have the entire moral responsibility for killing them off.
In a civil war situation the left has to actively go out and conquer the right’s turf, which will inevitably turn genocidal. But we don’t have to actively go out and conquer their turf — just deny their turf food, energy, and communications. Which will also turn genocidal, but is a much more civilized and genteel way of doing genocide.
In the era of drone warfare, what matters is being their first with the most, and then you can just sit back and its very hard for the enemy to take from you what you have. As the war goes on, and on, and on, and on, for much longer than either side expects, it will be come to be dominated by logistics, organization, taxation, conscription, and bureaucracy, and gun toting rural rednecks will not matter much. But in the opening days of the war, its going to be totally gun toting rural rednecks. As in a game of go, you want to grab as much turf as possible in the opening moves, and you can worry about holding it later. The side with the most gun toting rural rednecks on day one is the side that will be in the catbird seat when the vast and terrible cumbersome bureaucracy of war eventually grinds into high gear.
There is an expectation on both sides that we can have a civil war, and it will remain low level, everyone will avoid doing terrible things to avoid scaring the normies. And whenever people stumble into a terrible war, that is what they always think. And the reason that they are always wrong is that they also always think that if they do do something terrible, then the other side will of course capitulate, because it would be completely unimaginable and unthinkable for the other side to respond with something even more terrible and unthinkable. So in practice war always turns swiftly into one unthinkable terrible thing swiftly followed by another even more unthinkably terrible thing.
Every eighty years or so people forget this, and then re-learn it the hard way.
When the Romans were starving out a city, they would not let the defenders dump the women and children on the Romans, but food is more abundant these days, we don’t have to take that moral burden, since the economic burden is going to be relatively cheap, and the Democrats are going to be very reluctant to dump the women and children on us anyway, preferring to work them to death in war prep, dismantling urban structures into (entirely useless) barricades, without feeding them.
Civil war will start with an election where the losing side rejects the legitimacy of the election, or with the one side making very sure the election will give the desired result, and the other side concluding that they should fight first and hold the election afterwards. The 2020 election was blatantly illegitimate, but the right generally went along with it and pretended to believe, because the alternative was unthinkable. After the Biden disaster, it is no longer unthinkable.
Every election has come closer to ringing the bell for civil war than the previous election. The Democrats would have started civil war II in 2024 if they had not been too busy fighting each other.
If we act vigorously to prevent fraud in the mid terms, then they will start the civil war before the mid terms. Otherwise, civil war is likely to start shortly after the mid terms. It got mighty close to civil war in the Ice riots.
