Trump finally moves to make peace in the Ukraine

The Biden regime promised the Ukraine a lot of weapons. Trump has relaxed secondary sanctions, something from which I have personally benefited, has not authorised any weapons, but did not, at first, cancel Biden authorised supplies. Now, as part of his program of giving warriors a more significant role in the military leadership, has authorised them to hang on to their stuff — that the Biden promises do not empower the imperial war faction, the “democratic” regime change faction, to disarm the US army in favor our proxies. No one clearly knows how much this is cutting the Ukraine’s weapons supplies. No one clearly knows what weapons, and how many, the US still has. (Recall that when Hamas attacked Israel, Israel discovered that their capacity to arm the reservists was crippled, because a lot of their weapons had quietly wandered off to the Ukraine. They did not know how much had been lost until they actually tried to put boots on the ground.) But from the Ukrainian point of view, it looks like a total stop of anti air supplies, and a radical reduction of ground weapons — looks like they are not going to get any more 155mm shells.

The Ukraine army is a US armed, US funded, and US commanded operation. It has long had large numbers of US military personnel in non front line roles, notably in Avdeyevka , though they skedaddled once the place came under heavy bombardment. The Greatest Ukrainian Counter Offensive was carried out in an idiotic way because the military planning was done by the State Department which pushed back hard on Pentagon and Ukrainian advice and effectively overruled them. And this operation has not only disarmed the US, Europe, and Nato, it substantially disarmed Israel. And now warrior officers in the US want to rearm, or at least avoid being further disarmed.

The Ukrainians and the Europeans were not informed of this in advance, or were informed in a misleading and confusing way — probably because no one in America quite knows how drastic the cutback is. The American government is itself misled and confused.

The US could turn off Ukrainian capability in an instant. Just turn off the targeting information from US military satellites and order Musk to flick the Starlink switch.

The US, the Ukraine, and Europe have long been begging for a temporary ceasefire, a frozen conflict, and are now begging harder. Russia starting 2022 said it would not put up with low level warfare any longer and would no longer accept a frozen conflict that can at any time be partially unfrozen to whatever extent the US finds convenient. Russia wants actual peace, and is prepared to go to actual war to get it. Low level warlike acts would meet a full on war response. This was yet another Rusian red line, and Russia has long been announcing red lines, and the West has long been casually crossing those red lines with no consequences: Low level warlike acts continued, most notoriously the shelling of civilians in Donbas, US shells, fired by US artillery, with the Ukrainians actually pulling the trigger — but most of those Ukrainians being in walking distance of the US military facility in Avdiivka full of US personnel supplying the artillery, the shells, and the targeting information.

And then this low level warfare met high level warfare.

The US State Department now has no choice but to accept the peace deal. A neutral, Finlandised, rump Ukraine, with rights and freedom for Russian speakers in the Ukraine and the Russian Orthodox Church. The most recent peace offer from Russia is harsher than the peace deal offered in the recent peace talks on 2025 June second, in that they have now redefined the EU as a military alliance, not just an economic agreement, so the most recent iteration of the deal excludes rump Ukraine form Nato.

If the US does not agree to that deal very soon, the next offer will be the same, plus the Ukrainian Black Sea coast becomes part of Russia.

As the remaining Ukrainian army gets smaller and smaller, the term’s of Russia’s peace offer get harsher and harsher.

The problem is that the satraps we have appointed in the Ukraine have become immensely wealthy, and want to become even richer, Any peace will lead to a Ukrainian government that will certainly attempt to confiscate their wealth, and probably want to hang them, so if allowed, they will force the last Ukrainian into the meat grinder, and then retire to the South of France. So the US will have to threaten them with flicking the switch on Starlink. In which case, we can expect the “stab in the back” narrative. In any situation where we get peace in the Ukraine before every Ukrainian city is levelled, and every ordinary Ukrainian dead, we are going to get a “stab in the back” narrative.

Because a huge part of the American government is still in impenetrably deep delusion, any policy based on reality may well cause a severe split within the Trump administration.

Trump has done far better in exerting control over the American presidency this time than first time around, but he still, fundamentally, is not recruiting his own men. Hitler had his own counter establishment, and simply plonked it into the key power positions, the control of internal violence, and from there all power positions. Trump does not have his own men.

The total destruction of the Ukraine, and the annihilation of every Ukrainian not privileged and powerful enough to be able to escape, is from Russia’s point of view, not a bad outcome. It will be an educational outcome for countries near Russia that are playing ball with Russia’s enemies, such as Azerbaijan playing ball with Turkey and Israel. It will stiffen people’s spines against color revolution, as it has stiffened Georgian spines. For the US, however, it would be a bad outcome. Not to mention it is not a pleasant outcome for Ukrainians.
