The Biden regime promised the Ukraine a lot of weapons. Trump has relaxed secondary sanctions, something from which I have personally benefited, has not authorised any weapons, but did not, at first, cancel Biden authorised supplies. Now, as part of his program of giving warriors a more significant role in the military leadership, has authorised them to hang on to their stuff — that the Biden promises do not empower the imperial war faction, the “democratic” regime change faction, to disarm the US army in favor our proxies. No one clearly knows how much this is cutting the Ukraine’s weapons supplies. No one clearly knows what weapons, and how many, the US still has. (Recall that when Hamas attacked Israel, Israel discovered that their capacity to arm the reservists was crippled, because a lot of their weapons had quietly wandered off to the Ukraine. They did not know how much had been lost until they actually tried to put boots on the ground.) But from the Ukrainian point of view, it looks like a total stop of anti air supplies, and a radical reduction of ground weapons — looks like they are not going to get any more 155mm shells.
The Ukraine army is a US armed, US funded, and US commanded operation. It has long had large numbers of US military personnel in non front line roles, notably in Avdeyevka , though they skedaddled once the place came under heavy bombardment. The Greatest Ukrainian Counter Offensive was carried out in an idiotic way because the military planning was done by the State Department which pushed back hard on Pentagon and Ukrainian advice and effectively overruled them. And this operation has not only disarmed the US, Europe, and Nato, it substantially disarmed Israel. And now warrior officers in the US want to rearm, or at least avoid being further disarmed.
The Ukrainians and the Europeans were not informed of this in advance, or were informed in a misleading and confusing way — probably because no one in America quite knows how drastic the cutback is. The American government is itself misled and confused.
The US could turn off Ukrainian capability in an instant. Just turn off the targeting information from US military satellites and order Musk to flick the Starlink switch.
The US, the Ukraine, and Europe have long been begging for a temporary ceasefire, a frozen conflict, and are now begging harder. Russia starting 2022 said it would not put up with low level warfare any longer and would no longer accept a frozen conflict that can at any time be partially unfrozen to whatever extent the US finds convenient. Russia wants actual peace, and is prepared to go to actual war to get it. Low level warlike acts would meet a full on war response. This was yet another Rusian red line, and Russia has long been announcing red lines, and the West has long been casually crossing those red lines with no consequences: Low level warlike acts continued, most notoriously the shelling of civilians in Donbas, US shells, fired by US artillery, with the Ukrainians actually pulling the trigger — but most of those Ukrainians being in walking distance of the US military facility in Avdiivka full of US personnel supplying the artillery, the shells, and the targeting information.
And then this low level warfare met high level warfare.
The US State Department now has no choice but to accept the peace deal. A neutral, Finlandised, rump Ukraine, with rights and freedom for Russian speakers in the Ukraine and the Russian Orthodox Church. The most recent peace offer from Russia is harsher than the peace deal offered in the recent peace talks on 2025 June second, in that they have now redefined the EU as a military alliance, not just an economic agreement, so the most recent iteration of the deal excludes rump Ukraine form Nato.
If the US does not agree to that deal very soon, the next offer will be the same, plus the Ukrainian Black Sea coast becomes part of Russia.
As the remaining Ukrainian army gets smaller and smaller, the term’s of Russia’s peace offer get harsher and harsher.
The problem is that the satraps we have appointed in the Ukraine have become immensely wealthy, and want to become even richer, Any peace will lead to a Ukrainian government that will certainly attempt to confiscate their wealth, and probably want to hang them, so if allowed, they will force the last Ukrainian into the meat grinder, and then retire to the South of France. So the US will have to threaten them with flicking the switch on Starlink. In which case, we can expect the “stab in the back” narrative. In any situation where we get peace in the Ukraine before every Ukrainian city is levelled, and every ordinary Ukrainian dead, we are going to get a “stab in the back” narrative.
Because a huge part of the American government is still in impenetrably deep delusion, any policy based on reality may well cause a severe split within the Trump administration.
Trump has done far better in exerting control over the American presidency this time than first time around, but he still, fundamentally, is not recruiting his own men. Hitler had his own counter establishment, and simply plonked it into the key power positions, the control of internal violence, and from there all power positions. Trump does not have his own men.
The total destruction of the Ukraine, and the annihilation of every Ukrainian not privileged and powerful enough to be able to escape, is from Russia’s point of view, not a bad outcome. It will be an educational outcome for countries near Russia that are playing ball with Russia’s enemies, such as Azerbaijan playing ball with Turkey and Israel. It will stiffen people’s spines against color revolution, as it has stiffened Georgian spines. For the US, however, it would be a bad outcome. Not to mention it is not a pleasant outcome for Ukrainians.

I am not lying. This kind of “worship” is spreading throughout the third world like it’s the latest plague. Mass possession. More demons here than in a church of Satan, or even a synagogue. But this video goes out of its way to rebut it logically rather than remain merely mocking it, like “Jesus Camp”. The first half hour or so is truly funny though, in a limited sense.
The “mainline” protestants are of course mostly sex deviants, and the “evangelicals” are a sort of acceptable white-adjacent tribe who tend to oppose the “good school district” tribe.
Firstly, what is depicted is simply wildly atypical of what protestants, even protestants of the tiny minority sects depicted, actually do.
Secondly: There is a whole lot wrong with the Christians depicted in this video, but demonic possession it is not. If demons are literally real, I know what demonic possession looks like. In schizophrenia, a person’s life is disrupted by inner voices from personalities that hate him, and he often is unable to adequately hate them back, incapable of stubbornly doing what they violently object to him doing, or not doing what they obnoxiously demand. He lacks the will power to perform sanely in the face of the disruptive inner noise, whether they are literal demons or whatever the psychiatric psychobabble says metaphorical inner demons are. If demons are literally real, this is demonic possession in the sense depicted in the New Testament, “my name is legion”, a horde of squabbling demons hostile to primary personality, and none too friendly with each other either. A worse, because more competently performed form of demonic possession is a calmer, quieter, and more capable of self destructing and performing great evil in a superficially competent and successful fashion. It is subtly creepy, rather noisily crazy, as for example Adam Schiff’s human mask dropping from time to time. The person not merely fails to adequately hate the inner voices back, but accepts or identifies with an inner voice that hates him and lies to him, and competently performs whatever that inner voice decides to do. So rest of the legion of inner voices quiets down or is shooed off by the most successful demon and stops shouting at the primary personality, or at the soul, whichever it is.
Thirdly: The people depicted claim to be possessed by the holy spirit. Mostly, they are faking it. Sometimes maybe they are possessed by something, but if so, the primary personality remains in control. He invited the possessor in, and by and by, the possessor graciously leaves.
Honestly I would have been willing to compare notes. I never refer to myself as a protestant, and not very often as an evangelical, but almost always simply as a Christian. Sola Scriptura is a thing; worshiping Semiramis while calling her “Mary” is not.
Which is not to say that there aren’t problems all around. A church that proudly displays the pride flag is blatantly apostate. The Holy Spirit is not working in those peoples’ lives today.

Russians reasonably and realistically believe that Nato success in this war would have consequences for Russian civilians similar to that of the Nazis occupying large parts of Russia, because that is what happened in Kursk. It is quite obviously not what is happening when Russians seize yet another Ukrainian town.

It is clear that Russian bombardment of Ukrainian cities is killing a lot of Ukrainian civilians. It is also clear that the Russians are only targeting what they reasonably believe to military facilities, and infrastructure critical to the Ukrainian war effort. Most of the Ukrainian deaths in the cities appear to be Ukrainian anti air missiles falling out of the sky. We have seen a whole lot of Patriot missiles crashing and exploding. While the Ukrainians were murdering Russian civilians either as policy, or because their soldiers have been inculcated with genocidal propaganda, while Russian troops are not being inculcated with genocidal propaganda.
If you look at Ukrainian propaganda, it is obvious that victory means terror and mass murder, and this is in fact what we saw. If you look at Russian propaganda, it is the opposite, and this is what we see in practice. Ukrainian propaganda dehumanises Russians, and Russian speaking Ukrainians. They are vermin, orcs, insects. Russian propaganda deeply humanises Ukrainians, they are misguided and misled, tragic, rather than evil. And the actions of Russian and Ukrainian troops in the field reflect these very different official narratives.
I recall a video in which a Ukrainian Patriot missile base was under Russian attack, and the base was launching patriot missiles like a machine gun against incoming to save itself. Quite few of those patriot missiles turned round and hit the city not very far from the base, which was located in the middle of civilian apartment blocks, on the former parking lot of one the apartment blocks. Not a good location to put a vital military target. The Ukrainians are deliberately using their own civilian population as human shields for their military assets. One patriot missile did a U turn and appeared to hit the base itself, or very close to it. We know a lot of patriot missiles are faulty in this regard, for the Saudis also complained about patriot missiles running wild — but their missile base was in the middle of desert — there was oil infrastructure nearby, but not civilian apartment blocks.

No one has said they are holy. There is lots of criticism of Putin on this blog. The claim is that Russians are reasonably and realistically afraid of terrible evil. Frightened people may do terrible things, up to and including nuking the world. You have said, truthfully but deceptively, that thousands of Ukrainians civilians have been killed. Unless the US changes course before the precipice, it will be hundreds of millions of American civilians. This is not my main concern, because I know Trump shares it, and he is probably going to change course before going over the cliff.
You don’t defeat a nuclear power, and you should never embark on a course of action where it is likely to see defeating you as existential. Everything eventually has to be settled by diplomacy, based on each side comprehending and understanding the other. Trouble is that comprehension and understanding of Russians is still a thought crime, though fortunately becoming less and less of a thought crime.
Russia cannot and will not accept a frozen conflict. All frozen conflicts with Russia, not just the Ukraine, must be resolved, because of the long US history of unfreezing them just enough to put dangerously great pressure on Russia. In addition to the Ukraine problem, we need a solution to the Kaliningrad Oblast that does not involve Russians being removed from Kaliningrad, nor Poles and Lithuanians being removed from the lands between Kaliningrad and the rest of Russia.
Russia has no natural borders. Thus conflicts between it and is neighbours are apt to result in, or be caused by, people of a neighbouring ethnicity being disloyal, or being perceived as disloyal. This problem can be resolved by not having conflicts between Russia and its neighbours (Russian dominance of its neighbourhood) or by Russia and its neighbours observing strict rules for the treatment of minorities. Which not everyone has been observing. To avoid Russia needing to impose the solution of dominance of its neighbourhood, we need a peace where everyone agrees to same rules on handling minorities.
Russian rightly views continued low level war between nuclear powers as intolerable, and is not going to tolerate it any longer. A general peace has to resolve the Ukraine problem, the Kaliningrad problem, the minority problem, and ensure both Russian and European security.
This split is theatre imho Musk could have easily gotten a careful for whatever he wants.
